There is an alien TV series coming but if Disney are doing it then my interest in it might have just died.

it was blasphemous

I liked Prometheus and covenant. The fact the android created everything is a bit silly but the movies themselves were decent I thought.
Good atmosphere to them.
As standalone movies they would be ok but because they are part of alien, that's why people dislike them.

Prom was a contradictory overly cliched piece of garbage IMO.

Not speaking for everyone but personally I dislike Prometheus because the scientists were stupid as hell. Touching alien plants with their bare hands and the facking boulder scene ffs

Covenant was just insipid. Felt like a made-for-TV movie that fills in the gaps between theatrical releases.

Genius scientists go upto scary looking egg/spore "oooh shiny! ............. Oh sh!ttttttt!!!!!!!"

Covenant was just a vehicle for Fassbender to show us how grate he is. Really had fck all to do with the aliens.

I don't remember the boulder scene though?

Mistyped that, I mean the running away in a straight line from the ship that started the Prometheus School of Running Away From Things

See that’s why Raiders of the Lost Ark is perfection..
Attention to detail.
Thee was only one way for Indiana to go, so there’s genuine fear that the Boulder will crush him.

In Prometheus… they had a whole facking planet with 360 degrees of possible exits to consider. Nope, let’s just run in a straight line…

I brought up those two scenes in particular before. I wanted to leave the cinema after the ship falling scene.

T2 being the only other that could contend it.

Even when watching Strangers Things I was still hating on the Dr who plays Burke in Aliens.

The Alien Xenomorph, is truly truly the most terrifying creation. You are so dead.
