Prey, Predator, Predators in that order would be my pick. Keeps it nice and consistent by keeping it all in a jungle/forest setting.

Now, this is where I slightly disagree… the jungle setting is great. But I haven’t got a problem with them changing location/setting..
Have it in a Big City. But L.A?! Nah.. nothing really stands out about LA, unless it’s Michael Mann directing…
Go somewhere else. Go Europe with the great historical architecture. Japan under the neon lights, and their wealth of history.
Yeah I like that they tried something different but the city setting just doesn't work for me with Predator. They chose LA for Predator 2 because it was on their doorstep. Very lazy and cost cutting option. They should have done New York with all the bright lights and tall buildings. Would have worked better than LA anyway.
Or just do a Se7en and make it some unnamed fictional city in America.

Why have more people written a review for P1 & Prey than Predator 2? And I know there’s people that love P2.

Better characters than the modern films
Better gore
Expanded the lore
Better soundtrack
Prey is criminally overrated, it’s complete garbage.

Predator 2 is an average movie.
The plot is non existent and the idea that Danny Glover could take on a Predator seems to add to the comedic nature of the film. It loses all the horror and suspenseful elements of the first and it's set in a city environment that doesn't compliment the Predator. The action is great but everything between those scenes is filler and the characters lack the interest of the first.
Prey and Predators are far superior in my opinion.

Glover had years of experience arresting petty thugs.

Thorgen is bang on - any of those in Prey wouldn’t last a minute against a predator. Lieutenant Harrigan at least had a chance with his guns.
We saw the speargun, combi stick, smart disc, med pack. The predator fought King Willy honourably, didn’t kill the little kid with a plastic gun, didn’t kill Eliona because she was pregnant.
When Harrigan’s team got taken out one by one, I cared. Poor Jerry the Lone Ranger got his head pulled off, Danny boy got taken down with screams of dreaded fear. I didn’t care one bit about the recent characters.
Predators was pretty good though, probs joint second with Predator 2 for me.

I'd suggest you read my earlier points.
The Predator in P2 was clearly more aggressive and experienced than the one in Prey. The Predator in Prey was a younger more inexperienced hunter and it knew nothing of how the humans hunt or their capabilities.

I see no issue with a skilled 5 ft 5 female being able to take on a Predator by using traps and experience. This isn't an arm wrestling contest.
Have you ever watched a womens boxing or mma fight? A highly skilled woman is a lot more dangerous than you keep suggesting. As the boxing saying goes, skills pay the bills.

Predator 2 is an average movie.
The plot is non existent and the idea that Danny Glover could take on a Predator seems to add to the comedic nature of the film. It loses all the horror and suspenseful elements of the first and it's set in a city environment that doesn't compliment the Predator. The action is great but everything between those scenes is filler and the characters lack the interest of the first.
Prey and Predators are far superior in my opinion.

She had years of hunting experience and knowledge about the land that was passed down to her.
Glover had years of experience arresting petty thugs.

Petty thugs? The Jamaican voodoo gangs and Colombian drug cartels were armed to the teeth and extremely violent.
Thorgen is bang on - any of those in Prey wouldn’t last a minute against a predator. Lieutenant Harrigan at least had a chance with his guns.
We saw the speargun, combi stick, smart disc, med pack. The predator fought King Willy honourably, didn’t kill the little kid with a plastic gun, didn’t kill Eliona because she was pregnant.
When Harrigan’s team got taken out one by one, I cared. Poor Jerry the Lone Ranger got his head pulled off, Danny boy got taken down with screams of dreaded fear. I didn’t care one bit about the recent characters.
Predators was pretty good though, probs joint second with Predator 2 for me.

I'd suggest you read my earlier points.
The Predator in P2 was clearly more aggressive and experienced than the one in Prey. The Predator in Prey was a younger more inexperienced hunter and it knew nothing of how the humans hunt or their capabilities.

I read them previously. Still don’t agree. I know the prey predator is less experienced but that still doesn’t go anywhere to explaining how a skinny little girl that is 5ft 5 inches takes on a yautja. It’s laughable mate

I see no issue with a skilled 5 ft 5 female being able to take on a Predator by using traps and experience. This isn't an arm wrestling contest.
Have you ever watched a womens boxing or mma fight? A highly skilled woman is a lot more dangerous than you keep suggesting. As the boxing saying goes, skills pay the bills.

Expanded the lore
Better soundtrack

If a movie is overrated, that implies it's an average movie that people elevate into a good movie.
Nobody ever overrated a movie that you would consider completely garbage.
