Can't quite put my finger on it. Something was just bizarre about the movie and the actors. Nicole Kidman for example looked and sounded weird, to the point where I almost thought she'd been low-key recast.

The editing you can understand - there's some scenes where you can clearly see they've cut Mera's role, but she actually has way more screentime than I expected.

yup. I think someone will do a great documentary about it although I don't think the story is finished yet......

Now… thing is this BORED game. Cos it’s gonna be a crap year for the Spandex crew, is it ok to go Summer Blockbusters, like Ghostbusters and what not..l or do we keep it to Spandex movies only?

I thought it was decent tbh. More like the Netflix style but obviously a bit of Disney mixed in.

Really digs into her cultural background and it is a women leading which I know some ok here absolutely detest ( cough superb cough ).

Ending was a bit meh though but great to see Vincent D'Onofrio properly though.

Give it 7/10

Echo sounds grate. Really excited to not watch it.

Echo sounds like something that wouldn't interest me. Fair play to those that have enjoyed it and watched it, after being emasculated.

I like how watching or allegedly watching content with female leads is considered worthy of emasculation

Disney only have themselves to blame though. We absolutely do need more movies and shows with female leads but the way that Disney in particular have gone about it is awful and the masses are getting sick of it.

Creating these near invincible or perfect Mary Sue type characters that no female could possibly ever aspire to be while at the same time belittling or even vilifying men.

That's not the way to go about this. We're trying to get rid of inequality here so that men and women can be equal not just shift the inequality over to men.
