Nah can’t be, this article is seven years old and the DC Zone came well after it. We all remember because it went as badly as DC’s attempts at rivalling Marvel with a cinematic universe.

DC Zone was a very similar time to this one so if this is seven years then that was about that too. It had some people commenting on it until we agreed to just have one CBM thread. Not as many on here of course but many of the posters on here have traditionally been Marble fangirls even though most barely knew what Marvel was before the MCU was a thing lol

I only find things like this when theres 0 ways to obtain it - its about the most annoying thing in the world rn when a distributor has complete control of something and removes it from all channels. Its not even as easy as it was to get hard copies

The other one is games, studios when they close making it as hard as possible for the game to survive into posterity without them

I don't really have an issue with it for movies or footy, if the distributors are driving people to IPTV or whatever then that's on them for greed and falls firmly into 'fack around & find out' territory.

I do try and financially support the stuff I strongly support though, like Barbie.

Problem is that attitude of there are some bad distributors so fk all of them isnt super fair either

Nah I get you, but say I watched Queen of the Ring the other day. Was in obscure cinemas for a week here, I was busy the whole time. Not gonna pay $20 to watch it at home though.
