To be honest fam, when the action started I was probably asleep

I mean yeh, I didn't want to believe it, but 30 mins in, im asking myself, 'is this film.... Shiiiit?' 'Why do I feel bored'
and people keep saying to me, and all they say is, 'oh but that Plane sequence was amazing'

at that point I was in a bad mood, and for the most part of that sequence I wasn't even bothered, again the Editing was off, and I was just thinking what is the point of this?
It's not the greatest action sequence of all time... just cos there's hardly CGI doesn't mean it gets a pass.
Its a good sequence but very overrated imo

Baz, this is straight crazy right.

so, you say, does it tick the boxes of what you want in a M:I movie.... and to a large degree I'd say yeah, but...
and remember I'd just seen it, so a man is calm now.

but its a massive disappointment. And we'd have to get into spoilers, but Tom and Chris do the absolute wrong thing, and make it all about Ethan Hunt.
and then I don't know about Pun, but when the action finally starts... I'm just thinking 'oh man, you Tom are crazy'
im not thinking he's Ethan Hunt at that point.

hell I'm still arguing with friends, cos they actually liked it. I don't know how, it's so below the standard of what's come before.
for me, it sits comfortably at 7 out of the 8 films.

look, ultimately you've got the see it to make yer own mind up... imo This M:I 8 movie is a tough task even for streaming.
I'm never ever gonna watch this movie ever again... maybe rewatch the Sub and Plane sequences but that's aboot it.

I believe it was a cheap shot to say to people, maybe a new generation, to go watch the other 7 films.

Has a very cool opening with Hunt rock climbing….
There’s a couple bike chases that are cool. But terrible plot, and again all aboot Ethan Hunt.

And I was so excited for it… John Woo is a film legend, I love Hard Boiled. The man knows how to do action, just doesn’t fit in with Hollywood.
Cruise should’ve gone to the mountain, instead of bringing Woo to Hollywood. The man is in his element and comfortable in his surroundings, and you took him out of that.

Bit late to the party but I watched venom last dance on my flight home from Atlanta today and thought it was pretty good.
Way better than 2. Really enjoyed tom hardys performance. Shame didn't get to see more Knull though.
