Fantastic 4? More like Fantastic Bore.

The casting is extremely poor for this movie IMO. Pedro Pascal as Reed RichardsAll the cast looks pathetic in the trailers.

This movie also gonna be more of a Fantastic cringe than a Fantastic Four.

Superman movie gonna be the most pathetic Superman movie ever but Superman fans are gonna pretend not to notice.

It doesn't even look like a Marvel movie to me tbh. It has a really strange look to it from everything we've seen in the trailers, the colour grading is weird and it's really really sunny in many shots for whatever reason. Almost oppressively sunny lol.

The Kaiju monster thing looks really silly and looks like it's for more for a children/younger audience so let's assume that's the target audience here. Although not sure that generation really knows or cares much about Superman so it's definitely a big gamble.

I also think that along with superhero fatigue, poor writing/favouriting political movements over good stories and acting, people are getting fed up with constant reboots.

They are talking about completely rebooting the X-men for the 3rd time....
I mean what about the already established actors from the previous incarnations? Yes we are getting Magneto and X in secret wars, but why can't we use the existing actors with better writers??

I will admit

the odds of this Supes movie being anything more than a 6.5/10 seem to be low

It was a controversial decisions and controversial decisions will always be controversial!

I have a soft spot for Superman, but even though I will reserve my full opinion until I've seen the film, I feel that what we've seen so far doesnt promising with superdogs, over the top costumes and SM being overly emotional etc...

But I could be wrong and it might be a great movie

A tiny minority perhaps. Think the vast majority will judge this movie for what it is. So far it doesn't look promising though and the movie will need to be a massive step up from the trailers. If the trailers are showing the best bits then it's in big trouble I'd say.

Even our saviour and leader Pun has admitted that GUNN probably wasn't the right choice to direct a Superman movie, hence why this movie looks so off from what we've seen so far.

Let's hope this last minute total re-edit they're doing to the movie to make it less GUNNy and more Superman will save the day. Films have been saved in post before.

I don't think his style suits Superman. To say the movie is in big trouble before it's even come out is ridiculous though, that's like me saying it's going to be brilliant and make a billy easily.

Personally I think it'll be entertaining enough without matching the aciton of MoS.. but then I thought The Marvels would be a decent popcorn flick so who knows
