(My mate) Gunn did an interview the other day where he discussed many things. For example, the Supergirl movie is now just called Supergirl rather than Supergirl : Woman of Tomorrow. Exciting stuff.

I actually preferred Woman of Tomorrow in the title. Gave it something different. Supergirl on it's own just feels bland and there's already been a movie with exactly that title. So do we start calling the original Supergirl 1984 ?

300 was grate. Rise of and Empire not so much.

personally I think Man of Steel and his version of the Justice League are amazing.
Both are gonna hold up very well for years to come...

and the only time Leto wasn't jarring.

Stylistically what he did on Watchmen, especially in the comic book genre, will be very difficult to top. I can agree with that.

yeh, I don't think mans hated on Snyder, it was more Warner Bros execs and their foolishness. Some fans took their rage a bit too far.... then he did Moon whatshisface and lost a bit of cred.
but I think mans did wanna see his vision for DC play out.

Watchmen is a great movie but it doesn't have rewatchable value, like some of Snyder's other works.

I'd like to think that most people that watched his JL movie would want to see that story get concluded right ? Just when Doomsday and the JL faceoff against each other and shlt's about to get real. Like who wants it to end there ?

All they had to do was finish that story arc with another two movies or even just one movie if necessary and everyone's happy. Reboot the whole universe after that and start from scratch and everyone's on board, no complaints.

But yeah the blame for all this mess lies with WB. They don't know how to do things sensibly or properly when it comes to DC and that will continue lol.

Snyder done well with MOS and BVS wasn't as bad as some believe, but it also wasn't a great movie. Justice League was the worst in my opinion.

My favourite thing about Snyder's filmography is its all his usual style, edgy movies and then bang in the middle is Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole
