Snyder took bigger swings.
Also don't forget his heavy input with Wonder Woman.
That was only Patties film in name... look what happened when she got free rein with WW84.

I'm not the biggest Guardians 2 fan but I'd still watch that over 300 part 2 or even JL original cut.

I thought 300 part 2 was alright. Definitely not as good as the first one but still an entertaining enough movie. The lead actor was a bit lacking in charisma and was no Leonidas but it had Eva Green getting her baps out so certainly ticked a few boxes ✔️.

Ok so… my understanding is this… Officially, Zack Co- Wrote and produced WW. Jenkins Directed it.
We know of the odd scene or line that he suggested.
But many feel he ghost directed the film with Jenkins being the lacky.
Now, Jenkins may publicly refute that, and nobody has come out to confirm if Zack was more involved. But then for me the evidence in staring you right in the face.
3 Directors had a crack at WW.

But with the others, a blatant tonal shift and not for the better.

Eva Green was delightful but not enough for me to ever watch the movie again.

Snyder's MOS and Watchmen probably eclipse anything that Gunn has produced but I think Gunn is more consistent in his quality.

Gunn made the Peacemaker intro though

The original was a bastardised version of his movie. Much of it was reshot by Whedon and greatly altered in tone so wasn't really Snyder's movie at all despite what the credits said. Hence why Synder made such a point of putting his name in the title of the Snyder cut.

I thought the Snydercut was average and based on the script he had written for Part 2, it would have been a disaster.
