I see Hearts beating Hibs at Tynecastle, that will be a really tough game for them.

I would be amazed if Gerrard would risk his reputation by joining Rangers at this time without there being some major moves happening behind the scenes.

It just seems like lunacy for him to make such a move when the dressing room is a mess, the interim manager has left, captain and most senior player facing disciplinary action, two directors have resigned and Dave King is in even more trouble with his share issue.

Surely there has to be something major about to happen or else I can't see any manager touching Rangers with a bargepole.

‘POV - I thought the 55 banner was the start of last season. I wouldn't dispute there will be fans who want us to win the league as soon as possible and stop Celtic winning 10 in a row. I just don't know any who would make it a priority over the long term stability of the club. I would be interested to see the views of the posters on here who thought Rangers could win the league when we first came up and whether they would risk it all to make it happen as soon as possible or if they accept the likelihood that it won't and would prefer we have our own longer term plan.’

The idea that 10IAR doesn't bother most Rangers fans is pony I'm afraid.

It's a bit like the Rangers fans who were shouting from the rooftops in the 90s and even the 00s about how they are the peepul and rubbing every league win right in.

Speak to them now and they pretend they don't follow football as much now or kid on they attend Scotland games instead.

Simple fact is a lot of Rangers fans can't stand the success Celtic are having, absolutely nothing wrong with that, I'd be exactly the same if it was the other way round but lets not kid on that 10IAR isn't something that would bother Rangers fans because they are challenging for 2nd, 3rd or 4th place

NNH it bothers me a tiny bit more than losing any other league would.

But you'll not get me raging about it, get to 55 before us then I would be disgusted.

na i think the fact that it doesnt bother us annoys folk like you more. we have accepted what is most likely gonna happen. We are looking at getting ourselves back to as high a level as we can get first ... once we get there we will look at what Celtic are doing and then try and over come you. Until then we only care about ourselves and getting back to a position to challenge.

A lot of fans were resigned to 10IAR as soon as we were sent down to the bottom league so there is a great sense of inevitability about it



I can understand that fans are resigned to it being almost inevitable but to say fans don't care is nonsense.

It's a bit like the moonhowlers going out their way to say our titles don't count because Rangers weren't in the league
