Is a bit weird imo, but people complain about loyalty in football, this kind of shows loyalty(more than he showed his wife! ba dum tish!)so fair play to him.

Maybe Bruce means that he can skip Chelsea games (and all games) cos they will be releasing him from his contract.

Utterly ridiculous if true though.

What about loyalty to his current club? He's probably their best defender and he'd be willing to seriously weaken his current team cos he doesn't want to....what exactly?

Play against his boyhood club who he loves. He chose villa as they were not in the same league as chelsea, got within 1 game of promotion for them and i'm sure the villa fans love him just for that alone. He has been consistent that he does not want to play against chelsea since he left. This is nothing new. Plus he's 37 not 27.

Its a load of old b0ll0x anyway.
Terry even admitted it himself.
Of course hell play against Chelsea if Villa get promoted.

This is very professional of Terry

I'm not even saying i'm agreeing, and he should definitely miss a weeks wages if villa agree to it.

Wasn’t he a United fan as a boy, Nick?

Ridiculous if true.

Terry needs to stop being a big girls blouse.

So the first line you have said you don't know if it's true.

Then accused him as if you know it is.

ESPN knowledge of football = Harry Kane nearly won the golden shoe!

In a world where people are barely loyal to anything not even the people they married, this is very honourable of Terry. Never knew he had it in him.

Apparently it's fake news

Does anyone seriously see a situation, were villa get promoted, the premier league fixture computer throws up Aston Villa v Chelsea first game of the season, and Villas club captain, John Terry, is sitting in the stands.
This is the man who wore a full kit and shin pads to receive a medal for a game he didn't play in FFS.

posted on 25/5/18

Complete bell, as if Chelsea fans are going to turn on him if Villa take points off them anyway.

posted on 25/5/18

Surely Bruce could never agree to this?

If promoted the chances are that Villa will struggle and will need their best players available in every game possible.

According to the article Terry hasn't said anything on it it's bruce saying he would allow it.

Villa released a statement yesterday saying this isn't true.

Finger on the pulse as always OP
