Personally I love Germany. Great country. Friendly people. Great beer. What's not to like?

I'd like to think that the joy in England is just friendly 'bantz'. However, I do think there's something a little darker there, largely generated by the media, and soaked up by the half-kit-waaaaaanker brigade.

Germany will bounce back from this blip. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

I was in Amsterdam Airport yesterday when Korea v Germany was on. At the final whistle, the cheer in the bar was as loud as if it had been anywhere in England.

I think it’s a pity that they’re out. I always want to see the bigger and better teams in the latter stages. I have absolutely no interest in the likes of Iceland and other underdogs springing a surprise and making it through.

Yes, but if they have been knocked-out after three games it tells you they are not up to much and the ones who have qualified deserve to be there?

I can't remember us getting knocked-out early by playing great football?

Maybe they should just have an 8 team World Cup. You can decide which teams are in it.

It is quite embarrassing how it's still like headline news here in England.
