All the pundits are desperate for Harry to have a few weeks rest and to start his season at the end of Sept or beginning of Oct.

No doubt there motives are that they hope Spurs struggle without Kane and have a slow start to the season, thus allowing their darling clubs to get an early season jump on Spurs.

It will happen this season, not because you are bad but because you had plenty of players that didn't get a break, it was obvious watching the WC that Kane needs a long break and he isn't the only one, add to that the small squad and i think this will be that season you slip back a little when you really need to be pushing on

kane wont score more than 4 open play goals all season, set piece merchant.

Think Salah will get it again myself. Then he will leave and join a big club like Coutinho and Suarez did.

Agree with this. Kane, Alli, Rose and even Dier looked like they could do with a break. All of them will miss pre-season. When you know how important preseason is to Posh system of high pressing, you have to wonder how the season will go

They all get paid to pay football, so I expect them all to be starting the season. No excuses. Supporters pay a fortune for season tickets, so why would over paid prima donnas not be ready for the start of the season. Whatever their circumstances, they need to bust a gut to make sure they are ready.

You could flip that and say we had a best season in 16/17, immediately after the Euro's where we had quite a few players playing there too.

"Oh and don`t forget the season starts in August, and not September"


sadly for $puds though...it doesn't end in mid January...
