Breaking Bad was very good. I preferred The Wire though and would probably class that as my overall favourite.

GOT is up there too. I also think Fargo is one of the best TV shows.

The West Wing was better than BB. But I understand the former is more a niche show.

I really like BB but like most things of the zeitgeist, it is overrated.

Like food, cannot argue about taste, I think the show was brilliant and I disagree with your criticisms wholeheartedly. If you do not understand the deeper meaning behind filler shows, like the one where Heisenberg tries to catch a fly, then the show is not for you. Not doubting your intelligence, but you are probably better suited to watch Peppa Pig.

The beauty about sopranos is you can rewatch it for a tenth time and notice something completely new that you didn't notice the first nine times. Amazingly written show.

If you ever have time to binge it, I highly recommend it. I really liked Breaking Bad but sopranos is comfortably superior imo.

I'm yet to see the Wire, when I have time, I'll binge it.

I think BB was the best tv series I have ever watched.

I'm still yet to find a better TV series and I've seen GoT, TWD and The Sopranos

I would say thats true for BB as well, as there is a lot of plots and clues going back and forward, almost certain you could miss something watching the first time.

I have yet to watch Sopranos, will do so soon enough.

I think I'm the only person who wasn't really a big fan of The Sopranos.

I appreciate how well written it was, and all the complexities of the storyline, but overall just felt it wasn't that entertaining.

The Wire is the show which combines both of those aspects perfectly IMO.

Rewatching the series currently. I can admit that season 1 to 3 is a bit slow but I think if you're expecting Walter to just become this big mafia type drug dealer without the build up then season 1 to 3 isnt for you.

Basically season 1 to 3 of Breaking Bad is where Narcos failed with Pablo's story imo. It gives all the background and forces you to invest in the main character's come up. You gotta appreciate the journey of Walter. Whereas with Pablo, he just sorta became a kingpin after striking his first coke deal which was like in the 2nd or 3rd episode of season 1

Anyways I love the series. Is it better than GoT? I think we have to wait for GoT to end first.

I can say that it isn't better than Sopranos for me but it is comfortably better than any other series out there.
