By the way, seeing as Stretty won't do any basic research and change his position, it should be pointed out that climate and weather are not the same thing - a conflation he made right from the get go.

==================================

no one mentioned climate change.

we were talking about global warming.
==================

We've been talking about both.

Please keep up.

The irony of a staunch anti-immigrant supporter having no clue what a 3C rise would do in terms of immigration!

Nothing, once we control our borders.

Yea mate... When huge swathes of USA, China, India, Europe and Africa are uninhabitable, our blue passports are sure to defend us

That is literally not gonna happen

Well, there are 100s of papers, based on lengthly research and data analysis to say it is a likely outcome.... or there is you, with zero ability to formulate anything more than a one sentence answer.

I will literally trust the well informed scientists.

What, half the world are going to head for a tiny island?

I wouldn't have thought so

Even if you choose to not believe in man made climate change... the effects of climate change are still well studied.

You have said before that climate changes naturally... Have you looked into what happened during these the last hot period?

Here's a clue... Today's coastlines were under water... There were beaches and coastlines in areas now considered inland, like the midlands. Huge parts of the world were deserts. Antartica was not frozen and was habitable... the list goes on.

They will head for anywhere that is habitable, including the UK. Does this stuff really need laying out you really thought that I meant "only" the UK would be affected by immigration.

Unless people start knocking on his mum and dads front door and asking to stay over, it's not his problem bro.

What would it take for you to believe in it Stretty, like what would you have to see with your own eyes, to convince you of what Ji has been saying?

posted on 7/8/18

The deniers are in a no lose situation (other than the obvious issue of the world focking up!)

Any patterns get waved away as "normal climate fluctuations".

Any anomalies like huge forest fires, 'just nature, aint it".

His home counties family home will be burning and he'll still be typing away on here about how it's just nature

It would take a scientist showing physical manifestation of a weather change in his laboratory to change it.

He would generally have to be able to increase and decrease temperature on a wim.

the day after tomorrow scenario wouldn't cut it because that just could happen.

Like some kind of device that would condition the temperature of the air?

IT IS JUST NATURE.

Actually a lot are man made. arson, cigarette butts still lit but the point remains.

forest fires have always been a thing, they always will be.

jesus christ.

-------------------
so if there were 5 natural small fires a year in a certain county in the UK for all the times records were kept... Then that suddenly rose to 1000 natural huge fires a year... "It's just nature"... nothing could trigger that rise other than just a natural anomaly?

If you really believe yourself... Maybe climate change isn't such a bad thing... Let's cleanse the earth and start a fresh.

======================

That because you don't understand that global warming causes climate change, and that greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere - of which we are the chief architect - causally increase global warming.

Ergo, human activity *is* driving climate change.

Can you please now explain why you don't think humans are driving climate change? What is the basis of this belief?

You seem to be working hard to avoid answering the question. It's difficult to counter your objections if you don't actually explain what they are, and what the source for them is.

on a side issue... do you believe in evolution, stretty?
