Is it better than Breaking Bad?

Not even close to Breaking Bad, I find it bizarre how overrated BCS is. It's decent as a standalone show but I just can't see how people can compare.

Yes, yes, yes, yes. Probably the only time I'll agree with you on something, but that scene absolutely demolished it. To build yourself up and convince people you're the right candidate for the job, and then to tear it all down in an instant is amazing.

The scene with Kim and Howard after was top class too, just fantastic acting from all the cast.

I watched the first series and wanted to love it but it was just such a slow burner I couldn't get into it. If it's picking up though I'll definitely give it a watch as the idea of the show is brilliant and Saul was a great character on Breaking Bad.

I still prefer Breaking Bad more though, but BCS is one of the best prequels I've watched on TV.

It's excellent, but it's not better than Breaking Bad, come on.

I got through 2 seasons of it and really started to like it. I'll have to renew Netflix sometime and continue with it. Not quite up there with Breaking Bad but pretty entertaining all the same.

I'm rewatching Breaking Bad, will give better call Saul a go next. Tried a few episodes previously but couldn't get into it.

Oh it's Robb. Arab always goes on about this show, assumed it was him.

I'm yet to see the current season, but it's a great show. Not nearly as good as Breaking Bad though.

Most underrated TV drama in recent years for me is "The Americans". I can't understand how that show got very little attention.

Well BB was the best ever. I tried to get into this one. Although a Saul is great comedy character from BB, but not enough to really come near BB

Who still watches OITNB? It peaked in Season 2 and went downhill since. Season 5 was such a major clusterfack, I didn't bother with the recent season.

Orange is the new black is easy to watch, I find it okay, the Mrs likes it and it's better than reality crap.

The best thing about BCS is that it’s not just focused on Saul, especially in recent seasons. We start seeing the rise of Gustavo Fring, Mike and the Salamanca’s as well. I loveeeee it

I watch it, binged through all four seasons last summer. I think this new season released was decent, but the next one should be it’s kast.

Great show. Always said it's better than Breaking Bad in a lot of ways, certainly more interesting.

Breaking Bad had a bit of shock factor with it and was very original.

Better Call Saul writes itself, so many interesting characters. I like the fact Mike's back story is a big part.

I do agree in hindsight to the claim that Breaking Bad is "overrated" (only because many call it the greatest TV drama of all time - doesn't mean I don't think it's brilliant). Breaking Bad was my favourite series at the time I watched it following all the thrills in contemporaneous viewing. Where it suffers in comparison to shows like The Sopranos or The Wire is it isn't as enjoyable in repeat viewing.
