I think England is the only country with 2 domestic cups. Scrap it. What's the hold up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which other country then outside of the United Kingdom
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kinda changed the question there
Drawing a big gun in the FA Cup makes a big difference to a lot of lower league clubs. Surely the League Cup just doubles the potential for those that need it? 🤔
Footballs a squad game, nowadays more than ever.
Doesn't mean teams don't care, means players need games and no team has a best eleven.

France, Portugal, Netherlands?, Ireland and maybe another one or two in UEFA.
Loads of Asian countries have I believe, including Japan.
11 changes to a squad, simply means 11 players who will be getting a much needed run out.
I bet the players would be counting down the minutes for an opportunity to show their worth, in a must-win senior game, in front of the manager and crowds of anxious fans.
Nothing wrong with the league cup as far as I'm concerned.
Silverware isn't all equal, the League Cup is completely unnecessary and no one perhaps bar some glory hunters who obsess over trophies care about it (until the very final stages at least)
To be fair - fergies treble. The league cup is the only option for someone to trump it. Surely that needs to be a thing?!
