Bebe. That baffled everyone.

Pogba. I still hold out hope he will come good.

Groot. Nothing to say on that.

Berbatov. Was never suited to United. He would be great for LVG and Jose.

Young. Why Fergie, just why?

Berbatov

56 goals in 150 odd games

Two league titles

Few cups

Yup. Strange that This is why we hate you

Bebe, Fellaini, any signing Fergie made after 2007 that wasn’t a central midfielder.

Berba is a fair shout actually when you consider how we played with Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo and compared it with his style that really didn’t fit what we were doing.

..............

You didn't understand my point at all did you?

I will give you a big clue here, Berbatov was a fantastic player. Now re read and try to understand exactly what I wrote.

Quaresma on a loan lol
Pato, didn't even play the guy

I know we lay into Sissoko but for me the most pointless signing we ever had was Gregorz Raziak, excuse the spelling. Signed him, played a few games then was off quicker than when we bought him. Waste of time.

Silvestre was easily Wenger's worst signing ever. He should have been sacked for that alone.

Just remembered Kim Kallstrom. Wenger signed him to solve our injury crisis, and the player had a shattered spine!!

Every club makes signings that don’t work out. But signings that don’t make sense, for us anyway Xhaka wins by a landslide. Never wanted him and never understood why we wanted a player of his ilk in the first place. A £30M transfer fee makes it even worse.

Then you have the like of Sanogo, Park and Silverstein that people at the time new would never ever work out and yet the higher ups still decided signing them was the right thing to do.

And then we always seemed to get linked to the likes of Kalou and Nigel Reo Coker ever summer (thankfully we never signed them).

Remember United signing LB Andy Kellet on loan from Bolton a couple of years ago. Really strange signing. Was not one for the future. Was really strange at the time.

Apparently we had loaned out too many youngsters, so needed someone of a similar age rather than promote an u-16 player. So we borrowed a player from Bolton to specifically play for the u-23's, with no prospect of him ever signing permanently or playing for the 1st team.

Sounds like something we'd do do our 939494949 yearly loans then end up needing to sign a few more

The worst thing about our awful signings is that the club never acknowledge the mistake and get rid quickly. You made a mistake, fair enough (everyone does) but then you correct it. Instead ours often remain in or around the first team eating up high wages and ruining games...

As a Gooner where to begin!

Squillaci, Park Chu-Young, Amaury Bischoff, Gervinho (On paper this wasn’t a bad move, but we spent the whole summer thinking we we were making a move for Hazard), Andre Santos, Silvestre, El Neny, Mkhitaryan, Xhaka
