Hitting your kids is never acceptable. People who say nothing else works are morons. All kids have their kryptonite and it's your parents's job to find it as ALL kids act up at times and cause you stress.
My 4 year old lad is actually very calm and chilled but even he has the odd moment where he pushes it. It's called being a kid.
My parents threatened me with no Utd game at the weekend and no football training if I ever acted up. I soon came into line. It's that easy.
I've even spoke to a stranger in the street once when I saw them hitting their child hard. I absolutely detest it.

Not really, know plenty of kids who got a clip round the lughole, turned out perfectly fine and their parents are nice as pie.
Life isn't always rainbows and butterflies.

I have a hook......if the kids play up they get hung on the hook and smothered in pigs blood, then below a dog is let loose to bark madly.
It worked fine except social took my kids away....but it worked kids never played up.

And yes, of course you should be allowed to smack your kids.
Instilling a bit of fear in them is good, not everyone is gonna care if they can't watch their favourite football team at the weekend, unfortunately life's not that easy.

I've got a very good memory Ace, I remember a discussion on the Spurs board about 12+ months back about unprotective s3x. You claimed you threw it up loads of birds in Uni without using a skin, and that HIV is basically harmless today because of the advancements in medicine.

Secondly, whatever the conversation was I'm sure it lended itself to talking about shaaagging around at uni, I wouldn't just randomly insert it into a football conversation. You come across as a bit pious to be honest, lighten up
