Commentators and analysts are always behind the curve. Remember they don't watch Arsenal. All they do is watch the highlights. Even some so called supporters who make money from blogging only do that. Even when they do watch the odd game most don't have the intelligence to have an open mind. They far too prejudiced by the views the have expressed that they thinking changing their minds will show them as weak for getting it wrong in the first place.

I would rather be low key tbh. I suggested at the start of the season our aim is to finish in the top 4. That has not changed.

Media bias against the club one supports is one of the oldest whinges of the whingiest football fans. Every club has them, albeit some more than others.

Exactly, utd fans complain about 'ABUs' in media. City fans complain not the media but UEFA hate them.

I don’t really care what they think, I was listening to a phone in and Danny Mills was being inconsistent with what he was saying. He’s doesn’t seem to be alone with this opinion of us. Just frustrating to hear and it’s laughable.

Statistics can be used in anyway. Unless you can also give me statistics on quality of chances created the no. of shots is irrelevant. For example, opposing teams often shoot from long distances which are easy to save, when the penalty area is very well defended. Or Arsenal are more patient when taking a shot so have less shots because Arsenal strikers are more confident creating clear cut chances. This is why Arsenal are the highest goal scorers.

Essentially results are the best indicator of how a team performs.

Arsenal expected goals is 10.41 vs the 19 they have and expected against is 10.95 vs the the 10 they conceded.

Arsenal are 11th in the table on expected points.

Whose expectations? Paul Merson? Complete nonsense.
