You have no proof that Sheikh Mansour had anything to do with this case, nor do you have any information into what happened inside the court-room that led to his conviction. And have no idea what happened that led to his pardon.

Furthermore, sports washing comes with an inbuilt defense mechanism just in case someone tries to snap you out of it, by attacking that person with even more whataboutery and deflection.
