No he’s spat the dummy . He’s cane out and greeted about Naismith getting the jersey. Have you even read his comments?

I think you haven’t given your lack of knowledge on it! Go do some research before you come on with the green tinters on

Pay attention to the bit about being kicked in the teeth !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I take it you’ve read McLeish and Grant about it then, and also what he’s said more recently?!

It’s great how you can dismiss 2 independent people’s take on it as just being diplomatic rather than true!

Btw-irrespective-it’s still a fair comparison.

“He definitely spat the dummy unless he's lost his fitness between the Albania game this week which is unlikely since he's been playing for Celtic both in Europe and domestic. Dummy spitter ...100% ”

I thought it was common knowledge he’d spat the dummy.

First person I’ve seen saying he’s not is pov. Ironically enough, on a thread about ra bears reaction to the thumb spitting the dummy

McLeish yesterday: ‘The national boss is adamant he does not feel let down by the Celtic striker pulling out of the party to face Israel and Portugal, saying "it was big" of him to admit he must get fitter.

But he admitted he could not guarantee he would pick Griffiths - or any player - unless they were performing strongly.

"You have to respect Leigh's decision," McLeish said.

"I'm not going to throw him under a bus. He came to the games the last time round and there was no animosity whatsoever.

"I can see in a player's body language they don't like not playing. I could see that not only with Leigh Griffiths but a number of players.

"It's natural and I think it's big of him to say he needs to get fitter to play at these levels. He wants to concentrate on his fitness. I had a good chat with him on Saturday."

Peter Grant on Monday:

‘But Grant says: "He's definitely not in the huff. There's 100% not an issue. He's just being honest."

Griffiths, who has scored four international goals in 19 appearances, started Celtic's 6-0 thrashing of St Johnstone on Sunday but was replaced by Scott Sinclair after 61 minutes of the Scottish Premiership game in Perth.

"He's had a great conversation with the manager, who he has spoken with at length," added Grant.’

Now-he may well have taken the huff, but that’s speculation as it’s different to what the Scotland management team are saying. I’m only going on what’s being said by people in the know on it.

And being honest-I could care less his reasons for not going. Same for Lafferty. But you keep on believing that somehow his reasons are worse than Lafferty who’s given no reason at all.

I’m not sure what you quoting McLeish and grant, who I’ve already said were being diplomatic as managers normally are, has to do with it?

Cmon you, everyone and their dig knows griff is in the huff . It’s ok to criticise your own players/club. Doesn’t make you less of a fan

I don’t know what you’re not reading?!

I’ve already said I could care less what his reasons are. Your comment was about not doing my research-I’ve merely noted what’s been said in the last 2 days about Griffiths. That’s taking on board information.

But at least you can acknowledge that their behaviour is comparable.

Ive acknowledged hee haw of the sort

Have you read what Griffiths said yet?

I'm fine with being a hypocrite.

I didn’t say you had, I said you can.

I read his comments-he said it felt like a kick in the teeth.

FWIW-I don’t know what the truth is. We have statements from the management team, and we have the opinions of others based on perception. I think there’s a bit of both.

But-the situations are still comparable.

posted on 10/10/18

Any situation can be distantly comparable of course if your wanting to be silly or pedantic.

They are comparable in that both lock a ball and chose not to go away on international duty.

My comment of apples and applepines was of course in relation to the reasoning behind not going, rather than the situation itself. As in one has spat the dummy cos he’s not first choice, the other we aren’t sure of his reasons as he’s not been bumping his gums about not starting. He’s also just had a baby a few weeks ago if I was to hazard a guess.

I’m glad you now agree they are not comparable !

BB’s comment deleted? Can’t even remember what it was-something about NI?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said that lafferty played for a country the bears love...he replied that no such country exists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did this mean NI does not exist in barry's heid, or bears love no nation?😏

I believe he meant the latter...but I hadn't considered the other option up to now. Who knows.

Indeed😀

It is sad some club players pull out of games for their country, but hey ho.

There’s pedantry, and then there’s this.

You’ve became a parody mate.

I’ll leave it at that.
