I see Ipswich have sacked Paul Hurst, who has been slightly useless, with the club bottom of their league. The poor deluded Suffolk affectionados who campaigned for the removal of their equivalent to Red Adair should be sobbing into their beers.

Makes no sense to me why he is being held responsible when since Mick left they have sold just about anyone who was any good and replaced them with kids.
They were crap then so naturally they are crap now.

Even crapper in fact
Mick has ruined every club he’s been at, Millwall, Sunderland, Wolves, now Ipswich have all been left much worse than when he arrived!
Can’t beat a good Mick convo though
Permanents this season
2 from Accrington
2 from Shrewsbury
1 from Bristol R, Peterborough and Crawley
Last year
2 from Rangers
2 from Cardiff
2 from Ireland
1 from Forest, Birmingham
Big difference in backing in just one season

Nobody can argue with this, facto !
Best thing to happen to Ipswich would be relegation and a reboot, far better than scraping survival again and again.
Ironic that Mick was the one that rescued them from the last time they were in dire straights. Far worse from where they are now, as they were adrift by quite a few points.
How can they complain about a manager who has taken several clubs up to the top league, as champions? Our own experience was one of the best seasons many long-standing true fans can remember.
In a way it's a joy to see Ipswich fans now suffering from what they foolishly wished for.
I think they were complaining because he took them from a play off side to lower end championship and they were playing the worst football in the division.
As for wishes, we came up trumps after that fateful day didn't we, they probably want the same, I can't even imagine what state we would be in now but for that 5-1 defeat to Albion.

Do you think he could ‘do a job’ at WBA ?
Please let that happen
They thought Pulis played crap footy they would be devastated with the lowest pass completion and most long balls in the league!!!
This thread has gone full circle. Lambert for Ipswich apparantly.

Yeah great, we got to go to some ace new grounds, Crawley, Milton Keynes, Burton, Shrewsbury, good old traditional punch up with Port Vale too. Well worth the humiliation of successive relegations.

Dan Ashworth who left Albion to join the FA has now moved on to Brighton. On the shortlist to replace him at the FA is evidently Kevin Thelwell
The ticket for our game at Brighton includes subsidised travel. Basically means you can get a train from anywhere in the Brighton, Hove, Lewes area to Falmer Station next to the ground for free just by showing your match ticket. Good initiative

No trains between Three Bridges and Brighton/Lewes though apparantly.
Wish I was going to this one, only ever spent time in Brighton with work and holed up in conferences. Everyone tells me what a great place it is, despite having been a dozen times I cant really verify this.

Yeah they have done that for years for both home and away fans. Basically means I can get free train travel from my local station to the ground if I go to a Brighton game.
When you see how small Falmer station is though and how crowded the Brighton station and trains get; there is no way they would be able to police whether people have train tickets, so it makes sense to include it in the matchday ticket.
