I suppose the related question here is - who in either Old Firm team is the guy that puts bums on seats? The guy you'd pay to watch because he's so entertaining?

I think Celtic have a few players that opposition fear
Forrest , Sinclair, Rogic, edouard

Rangers ..Morelos makes stuff happen but you relax once he's got a goal scoring opportunity

Brian McClair was one who always gave me the fear when on the ball for celtic

And Charlie Nicholas was a joy to watch when he first came on the scene.

It’s a fair thread this.

And I suppose it demonstrates the kind of gap there is these days. I think if Morelos ever scares against us then he’s the kind of player I’d start to be concerned about but as of now, no he’s not.

For us I look to the usual suspects like Rogic, Forrest and Edouard who I still think is yet to come into his own. Previously I would have included Ntcham but I’m starting to think he’s going backwards.

Charlie was a phenomenal talent....never quite realised his potential.

I used to be very nervous every time Davie Cooper got the ball....also Laudrup and McCoist. Hateley too when he got running towards goal with the ball.

Was at Tannadice a few years ago with Duncan Ferguson was playing against us.

I think Derek Whyte was playing for us....maybe Mick McCarthy was the other one.

Every time Ferguson ran through the middle...one Centre Half went left and the other went right...they didn't want to go anywhere near the big fella.

He was pretty much unplayable at that time.

I remember talking to pretty senior football chap having watched him the evening before.
I commented that I hadn't seen a player go 90 mins not win every single high ball
The chap replied that he doesn't though just win the header he directs it exactly where he wants it to go. He never jumps for the sake of it.

Pity Dunc was a nutter though.

Probably edges Andy Gray and Eric Black (different type I know) as the best scots with the head Ive seen.

Christ there were years on end I just didn’t want us playing Rangers. 🙁

Going back in time and thinking outside the OF were John Robertson of Hearts and Drew Jarvie from
Aberdeen.

I suppose for those bears old enough maybe Sturrock might get a mention.

Tom rogic bearing down on your defence must be a scary sight. He is running amok just now.

Cooper was the ultimate scary player - if his first touch in the game was a good one he was unplayable.
