Satisfying win. Aberdeen played like a team that didn`t have a clue how to win, so decided spoiling was the best tactic. Must be a close contest who is the worst loser, McInnes or Levein.
Dallas was out of his depth. Booked 2 Celtic players for shirt pulling, which is fair enough, but ignored the Aberdeen players doing the same thing, one of which where Tierney was grabbed round the neck and wrestled to the ground. Ridiculous decision for the penalty. He couldn`t possibly have seen, from where he was, if that was in the box. Then ignoring Lewis being almost 3 yards off his line when he saved it. Justice done in the end though, should never have been given.
We looked very leggy with about 20 mins left. Glad there was no equaliser, as we might have struggled. The right decision to put Brown on, as we needed someone to combat their antics in midfield, with the ref not doing his job.

What should have been a showcase final turned into a niggly affair altogether. Referee never got to grips with it at all but at the same time it was evident that McInnes just set them up to get “in our faces” and take turns in dishing it out. For a while it looked like every break out or attack was just a foul.

On the back of a physically and emotionally draining game v Rosenberg
I am more than happy.
As said above - lovely to see Levein & McInnes whining in harmony.

Got back to my brother’s house to see a bit of the build up and the game. Was a close game, but we fully deserved the win.
Brilliant achievement to win 7 trophies in a row. We can’t always play fast flowing football, and Aberdeen were right up for it, and didn’t give us time which is what you would expect. Dallas is a poor ref, and was inconsistent throughout the game, which can be dangerous.
We’ve got a tough run of games now and will need the squad. Hope Boyata is alright as he’s formed a good partnership with Benkovic who was excellent again yesterday. Well done all round!

May seem slightly petty but it seems apt after yet another trophy win to remind ourselves of Dave kings words on rangers return to the top flight about Celtic should be further ahead than we were at the time - 7 straight trophy wins in a row and yet to lose a game that mattered. We have also never even list a game to rangers which is kind of ridiculous when other teams have managed to beat us.

Aberdeen came out to go man on man. That was their plan to stop us playing. It mean that no one was able to get much running into space
The ref was poor but I thought we were equally poor in our distribution of the ball.
We could have should have scored a few more to make the game more comfortable but delighted we held on to win.
I say held on but looking back it was never really in doubt.
My biggest gripe (well gripes) from yesterday was the when the head clash occurred.
See when the players are waving frantically when a player is down the medics should be racing on there. It is their sole purpose in their jobs. The speed at which the medics went on to the pitch was disgraceful. It was as if they went for a jaunt in the park.
My second gripe was when GMS was till down and the medics were giving him oxygen the crowd were eerily silent - which is understandable given most have a modicum of humanity so WTF did the GB think they were going to achieve by starting to bang the drum and bounce around. Go fvck yourselves. The fact that the rest of the crowd didn't join in tells you enough.

The fact he mentioned it would suggest it's a deal that's close.
Either a fee having been agreed or a pre-contract lined up as managers tend to start speaking to players in December when they can sign in January, if the club permits.

That's a few stories I've heard of them trying to intimidate people. Plastic hardmen. Ruined it for us to be honest as this went on all second half.
