This season he’s learning and experimenting for next season I hope we continue to support the manager and let him be judged next couple of season otherwise let him do anything he wants support the guy ffs.

Yeah he needs to start involving Özil and Ramsey more, Torreira has to start now as well. But the team just isn’t good enough, whoever we start in midfield can bring quite bad downfalls as well. We really have to get some players in, because we don’t have the right players to have a balanced starting 11

DJ, I meant he must be given benefit of doubt for now even if he plays Iwobi as GK and Leno as RB let it be coz he’s preparing this team for Europa League which this manager is capable of winning that’s why he was hired, we came close last season and only distracted Chelsea are our likely rival for that cup.

I totally see this season as one of experimentation. Having said that, I thought Xhaka and Torreira made the best pairing at the base that we have. Those two should be able to "carry" Ozil. We have missed Monreal. And to get the best out of of the strikers, they need a creator.

I'd also vote a 4231 with everyone fit, or 3412 to best use the strikers. But what do I know ha!

You can still criticise Emery without wanting him out. Today he picked a shocking side and it wasn't the first time.

It will not work every game, but It should be enough to compete for top 4. Then when he gets a chance, bring in an Ozil replacement who is closer to what he needs.

But how do you work with a player who will not put in the work and avoids the slightest of physical contact.
Ozil has been abysmal in a lot of games he was involved in this season .
Only a manager like Wenger will put up with his non chalance.

Your squad is so unbalanced. Despite him being top scorer I don’t think signing Auba, and then Mkhi, was a good use of funds when you are lacking in so many other areas and already had Ozil and Lacazette.

But he was never this bad at Madrid. Granted it's a different league, but I'd say Ozil at 60% in a system that suits him, is better than no Ozil.

Even when abysmal, he will still play 2 or 3 chance creating passes. You saw how horrible we looked today trying balls over the top or beyond the defence.

It evolves by getting in players to fit Emerys ideologies. It doesn't evolve from trying to make the players he has fit his ideologies.

Emery’s a pragmatist anyway so the idea that the set up sjoudln’t be adapted to what he has, especially when it’s so unbalanced, doesn’t really make sense.

And he’s been changing the formation around anyway. I don’t think he’s handled the Ramsey or Ozil situation particularly well either by freezing them out.

Sanchez and Ozil had contractual issues last season but were still played and contributing to the team.

Trouble we have is we're fitting square pegs in round holes throughout the whole squad just to sort out the defence. This wouldn't be an issue but the defending has actually got worse and the attack has suffered as well.

I understand how why Emery is trying to change but the players at his disposal aren't the quality we need. He is trying to cover the defencies of Xhaka, Mustafi, etc but the other players aren't good enough to change either.

What he needs is to get the bulk of the side back to the way their naturally play and to replace the utter dross. The unsavables. Xhaka, Mustafi, Kolasinac. Those players are rank awful and can't be helped.

Until then, expect more garbage games as Emery carried on firefighting.

Actually shocked to think if we win tommorow with the season we’ve had it will probably still be better than ur lots up to now, you lot were unbeaten for like 20games as well
