Looks like Dangerous has had a groin strain and may not be fit for match.

Just looked and he has played 12 minutes all season and that was earlier this month. That's disappointing as I would love to have seen him starting at the weekend.

I'm not sure "plum" was a flavour of Spangles.

That is an interesting loan for him heading out to Portugal, hopefully it works out well but they are already doing well so he may find it tough getting starts.

I saw them win against a top side in the FA Cup, at Gay Meadow. Think it was Ipswich. Need to check with Google.

Would have been 1982, or 1984. Shrewsbury won both times.

I went to the Shrewsbury v Chelsea league game in Jan 83 with my cousin and a bunch of other Chelsea fans (from Shropshire...naturally). Shrews won 2-0, was on MOTD too as I recall in the days before broadcasting rights.

Would be hard to believe for many that Shrewsbury v Cheslea was a regular 2nd division fixture for quite a few years.

Should be a good atmosphere at New Meadow on Saturday. There will be a capacity crowd of 9,875 with all tickets, home and away, now sold out.

For those not lucky enough to get a ticket the game will be shown live on beIN Sports HD8.

Heading down to New Orleans and environs from tomorrow so will miss this one sadly.

Just watched highlights of a game against a Southampton from 1971. I remember the players, but compared to today it looks like a Sunday parks game.

Hugh Johns had a very distinctive commentary voice, always reminds me of Sunday lunch and star soccer when I'm was a nipper.

Only one goal for City tonight despite putting out a strong side. A timely reminder of how tough these games can be.

I guess when you've won the first leg 9-0 Goldie, there's not that much motivation, coupled with a dodgy pitch.

Haven’t seen the kids for a while and be good to see what the academy facilities are looking like nowadays
