"Rangers or Killie away to Aberdeen. Another tough game for whenever progresses from that one to face Aberdeen."

I like how you refer to new Rangers as time based. Not who, rather when. Not who they will become when they close the club and start again, again, but when. When indeed.

The only saving grace is Lennon isn't in charge.

In saying that, his record in cups is woeful, might have done us a favour if he was there

Apart from the last game our recent matches against hibs are not great but there is no Lennon now coupled with their poor form i think we should win especially with a bigger Celtic support.

I know we haven't won there since 2014? They were in the championship for a few seasons mind

To put it into perspective then, we haven't won there in 5 league games, that's unacceptable.

Sure, injuries and a few bizarre team selections and formations haven't help. Surely Rodgers will stop tinkering when its not required and we will be fine. Course would rather have had a home tie but there could have been potentially trickier away days.

Straight forward progression to the Semi Finals for Aberdeen

Whats the score with Izzy? You think KT will be flung in already?

Edouard and Weah coming off the bench on Thursday could prove to be crucial.

If we can get ourselves ahead in the game then bringing those 2 on could be the difference in taking a small lead to a comfortable lead to give us a chance of qualifying.

I think if we are to have any real chance we need to win at least 2-0 on Thursday.

I think KT will play on Thursday, back in full contact training on Friday there so that's just under a week.

If we can get 60-70 minutes out of him then it's worth it.

Doubt he'll play on Sunday on the plastic pitch if it's been a hip problem.

Izzy looked flooked but then we were told it wasnt as bad? Bench for him then?

I hope the Celtic management team have learned from this, and only play KT in the more difficult matches, keep Hayes or Izzy for the home games.

KT has been run into the ground and needs rest.

I would also say McGregor should be rested soon as he's played 50 games this season.

Valencia are sitting 8th in La Liga with a GD of +4. Ok its a strong league but we shouldn't be feart they are not pulling up trees this season. They will of course be technically very good but if we press high we can get something from this game.

They have been decent recently and playing some devastating counter attacking football.

McGregor looked shattered in December but he's looked terrific since the winter break.

I don't think we can afford to rest him unless Ntcham comes back and actually gets his erse in gear!

Hibs are a shadow of the team they were even at the start of the season. They have brought a couple of new faces in January and are still without a manager.

When they do get a new boss in it will all have to gel pretty quickly if they are to be any real threat to celtic.

I'd go for Hibs 0 - 3 Celtic

If we make it past killie then the tie at Pittodrie will be another absolute battle.

Outside drawing Celtic we couldn't have had it any tougher.

Ill go for Rangers 2-1 Kilmarnock in the replay

and

Aberdeen 1-1 Rangers

in the next round.

9 trophies in 3 years under Rodgers would cement him as our 2nd greatest manager in my opinion.

mental to think that winning 7 or 8 out of 9 wouldn't do that as well isnt it

performances in europe are naive as f... for an experienced manager though.
