He has been a bit hit and miss, in the last few games with his deliveries.

He seemed to think he's mastered that art and lost the ability to deliver quality balls. Took himself too seriously all that accolade. Needs to start working hard again.

He need to prove that he can deliver good ball into the attack consistently.

Aurier should definitely be first choice for the rest of the season. Trippier has had so many chances and proven he isn't good enough to be first choice.

Aurier should be given the rest of the season to prove if he is good enough. If not sell him in the summer and keep Trippier as back up. If Aurier can play consistently then he could nail down the spot.

Had such a good WC but sadly he's gone backwards since.

Like Sissoko and Llorente I think Aurier would benefit from a run in the team. He may also be less rash if he didn't have the pressure of trying to prove himself worthy of a regular start everytime he plays. I think Trippier is as good he'll ever be whereas Aurier can and will get better.

To be fair Vertonghen puts in better deliveries than Rose

Where’s Stoke City when you need em. They like paying over the odds for our defenders, was it 18 million for Wimmer?

Vertonghen technical ability with his left peg would be as good as most LBs or LWBs. Thats the reason he played on the left for Belgium for most of his intl career.

Whilst I don’t think Trippier is the worse defender we could have at right back I do agree on the reluctance to give our other players a chance. Aurier is rash at times but in the games I’ve seen this season he has settled a bit. For me the biggest annoyance is that Walker-Peters doesn’t get more games. I know he made the error against Barca but come on most would be nervous in a game like that and outside of that game I believe he put in MOTM performances in his two Prem starts. If you are going to rotate the full backs then give the others a fair crack of the whip.

Vertonghen has been putting in better deliveries than Eriksen too to be fair.

I also like the bit about kwp being physically bullied sometimes.

Pretty sure I’ve seen every defender in our squad bullied at some point.

In Sanchez case nearly every game he plays.
