this says it all...........
Harvey has been on borrowed time since November, when he agreed the new TV deal.
Not only did the majority of Championship clubs feel the deal undervalued the rights, but they were furious at the fact it gave away the streaming rights to matches taking place away from the normal Saturday 15:00 slot, when many of them felt it was a method of generating additional revenue for themselves.
Although Harvey rode out that storm, he had lost the confidence of the Championship clubs, which effectively meant he was condemned to enduring a continued difficult relationship for as long as he remained in post.
A controversial figure, who was also responsible for the hugely contentious decision to invited 16 top-level under-21 sides into the Checkatrade Trophy, it remains to be seen what Harvey will do now.
But the senior EFL clubs will be looking for a replacement they feel acts more in their interests.
As long as the Bristol City boss doesn't take over!
What is a senior EFL club?
My perception is that the EFL under Harvey has been acting in the interests of most "senior" EFL clubs bar one for a long time now.
Els - you and quite a number of other Leeds fans!
I await the announcement he's joining Sky as a Director in the coming few weeks ..........
Just in time to get in shape for his temp Christmas post round.
Perhaps he could get a lucrative CEO position at another EFL club and preside over another administration.
Good riddance to the man who presided over the darkest period in our history

Dark times indeed but there were a few bright lights from the L1 era. Minus 15 cleanup crew, Beckford era, promotion, Snodgrass, Becchio, Gradel etc.
It was dark in terms of our league position but the League One days were some of the best years I've ever had as a fan

I used to love those dark, cold (freezing) Wednesday nights in the JPT against Bury etc..... with 1/2 empty stands.
Should've hated those years, yet strangely I really enjoyed them. It's a strange one.
Seriously though that L1 team were something else but there was always an undercurrent relating to a bitter taste due to our record of never having sank that low before. - And for Mr Monaco to be involved just rubbed our noses in it.
Cant say I loved the JPT games but I had some great away days at Carlisle, Stockport, Norwich, Peterborough, Coventry, Walsall & Tranmere.
Add to that the cup games at skum, Spurs etc, it wasn't all doom and gloom.
Thing is, we won pretty much every week back then, no exceptions. I loved our L1 side. Wouldn't swap it for the season we've had with Bielsa though.
