Apparently we were seven points in front but now we are one point behind.

You make it sound like City have had a similar lead over Liverpool this season that Liverpool have had over City. Which isn't true.
Liverpool have led City by 7 points this season after the same number of games had been played.
The biggest lead City have had over Liverpool after both had played the same amount of games is 2 points.
City have never been many points clear of Liverpool this season.

City are struggling to break defensive teams down, but like I said they've had luck to help them do it. One of these games they won't have that luck and may well drop points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you see the Leicester, West Ham and Everton games? The fact that they’ve clawed back so many point since NY must be worrying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's annoying. But they will drop more points and have a tougher run in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I fully expect City to drop points
Palace away, Burnley away and Utd away are the likeliest candidates for me
I still expect Liverpool to win it despite it being in City's hands.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that's what I've been saying. Brighton too if they're still unsafe. But I can't call it right now, I've never been confident of us winning it at any point this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet, in stark contrast, I have fully expected Liverpool to win every game

I’m not be funny but how can you be confident after that display? Conceding 2 goals at home to Burnley is shocking. City look far more dangerous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are you talking about? That was a good display. We should have scored eight and had to settle for four ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn’t, and should doesn’t win You silverware. City performance yesterday was far more convincing.
You have probably the best defender in the world, he’s turned loses into draws, your midfield is average at best. City are a better unit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Watford were more than likely going to draw until the refs mistake.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More than likely? West Ham would probably have won had the ref done his job properly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really, if the goal is disallowed then the rest of the game takes a different path.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Come now, you’ve both got lucky as some point. West Ham were the better side against Liverpool, City were the better side against Watford.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I'm not denying we've had some decisions go for us. But I just don't think City look particularly convincing.

7 points clear to 1 point behind
It's frightening that some people can't see what's going on before their very eyes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City were many points clear then had a bad run and we went many points clear then had a bad run and City are now a point clear. Loads of points to play for and there will be twists and turns yet.

OP why leave out a Burnley goal?

Apparently we were seven points in front but now we are one point behind.
I didn't know that.

wide open chaps. CL will be interesting too - if we both go through. Anyway the team that wins it will deserve it.
