I don't think it works like that.
Anyway can't see it happening for another year at least.

Not completely but it certainly has a sway
Coutinho had a lot longer on his contract. But I suspect Pogba will be the next one we look to tie down after De Gea.
Also £40m worth of options in that with Coutinho but we look like hitting most of then tbf.
Unless they sell him in the summer and don’t win the CL this year. I read you could stand to lose out on twenty odd million if that’s the case.
Near enough year.
£18 million for Coutinho’s first 100 matches for FCB
The Spanish club will pay £4.5m at each 25-match interval to total that £18m - 63 games played
£4.5m due if Barca qualify for 2018/19 Champions League - done
Another £4.5m if they qualify for the 19/20 Champions League - done
A further £4.5m for winning the Champions League in 18/19
And £4.5m again if they win it in 19/20

Put it this way if Coutinho went for 146m then pogba should be going for the same if not more
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And look what happened there. Makes it less likely that anyone, even a nut house like Madrid, will pay a huge figure for a player who has been hit and miss. More miss than hit too.

The problem is we will likely spend loads on average like Fred and Romero is nowhere as good as De Gea. His efforts against wolves were poor
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fk off he kept u in it he wss poor for their second but shaw had already slipped and romero made a mistake. De Gea made a mistake the same week or week before too xhaka goal?
UWWdont talk nonsense. Romero is not as good as ddg, but he still a good keeper. I’d much prefer him to be no 1 than spend 50m on dross like Pickford.

Players should be docked wages for these type of comments. What's the point in Ole building up a good feeling in the dressing room for it to potentially all to be undone by one player.

Absolutely hilarious.
Romero is arguably the best reserve keeper in world football, and still isn't good enough for UWW.

Romero was excellent, he made one save that was unreal. He is better than a back up keeper and quite frankly I'd have him over Lloris.
Romero has been one of our best signings since SAF left.

On the booze already?
Romero is class, he rarely makes mistakes. No keeper in the world is completely flawless.
