if you watch the game till 92minutes30 ,that's the best thing to do,City won 5-3 at that point
not a single spurs player or staff thought that was offside

You make your own luck sometimes

City were the masters of their own downfall when all is said and done but, they never gave up.

They kept going and gave 100%

Thoroughly enjoyable game. Proper Football match.

So close. Was the mistakes that cost us. Laporte who has been rock solid all season too.

I was really confident that if we could get past Spurs, we were going to win it.
Not going to blame anyone. Was satisfied with the shift put in by all of them.

Another ref could have made a different decision in our favour on both the Llorente's goal and Sterling's last minute strike..

That's why it's absurd to use a cup competition to judge any manager/squad..

What’s the relevance of whether any Spurs player thought it was offside or not ?

Pep outside of Barca really hasn't done much in the CL despite having some of the best squads in football at his disposal.

Knokced out by us then Spurs in QF's reflects badly on him, if we win the league this season Pep has allot to answer to the owners...

Also last night really shows that you can get at this city side if you're brave, far too many teams just accept defeat before playing city in the league, but there's plenty of areas a team playing city can exploit if they have the guts to do it.

I mean City might still rip you to shreads but that's the risk you take.

No other ref would have changed the last minute goal. It was as black and white as it could have been. Aguero was offside. No room for interpretation there.

He was at least a foot offside. No complaints.

I also think that the Llorente goal was right to stand!

He jumps with his arms into his body, what else is he meant to do with them?

Agree fully with this article, couldn’t have asked for more.

Bit of arrogance from City in the first leg in that they didn't play the recognised first team?

I'm not privy to the injury reports, etc, though.

That's one way of looking at it.

The other would be one league title in three years and no real improvement in the CL.

I fact were Liverpool to win the league, and that's a big if, it would be one league title in five years and nothing of note in the CL which for one of, if not the, most expensive squads in history plus a huge wage bill isn't great at all.

Broke all manner of PL and top flight records last season, on the way to a League Title

Disgraceful record. Pitiful really.

I didn't ay he was having a shokcer mate, but if City end up with 90 plus points and don't win the league, and having been knoecked out by 2 domestic rivals in the QF's of the CL two seasons in a row, I'm sure the owners would have questions to ask.

Really it's his overall performance in the CL I'm questioning outside of Barca I think he's only got past the round of 16 twice? Mightbe wrong on that but it's not a good overall record.

If City don't win the League it will be because of a mammoth effort on Liverpool's part.

The only people who will ask questions is you and the media. The owners wont ask questions and you know it.

For starters who would you replace him with? Its like you ignore what has happened at PSG in the last 3 seasons and wht happened at United with Jose who spent just as much as Pep.

By the same yard stick if Klopp spends an average of what he has spent since he joined Liverpool in the next 2 seasons and wins nothing he will be close to what Pep has spent now.

Will you ask questions of Klopp?

=====

Net or gross?

Because NET he is averaging £30m per season which is peanuts.

The new rule states that if the ball hits the hand of a player and results in a goal, the goal should be disallowed.
