I knew I missed somebody swap Aurier for Dier !!
Trippier is going to get smashed to bits.
You get 12 subs for the final.
Now just need to find the players to fill it
Tough call but I really dislike Trippier in a final.
It’s funny that the one time we might actually have our strongest squad fully fit is for the champions league final.
COYS!!
-------------------------Lloris
-------Alderweireld---Dier---Vertonghen
Trippier----Sissoko------Eriksen-----------Rose
-------------------------Alli
------------------Son-------Moura
Would be tempted to start Kane over Son or Moura and see how the game pans out. Make the substitution as early as possible if Kane doesn't look 100%. I don't want him on the pitch looking at 50% and us hoping he produces a magical moment. Too risky in my opinion.
Then again, Son and Moura both deserve a starting spot and if we need to change our game plan we'd have Kane rather than Llorente (nothing against his performances recently)

He's definitely the glaring weak spot. Doesn't say much for Aurier.
I think back four will hurt us this match. Robertson and TAA bomb forward and we need to take advantage of that.
Trippier cannot be trusted defensively against Mane as well so the more support the better and allow him some space to roam.

Kane absolutely has to start if fit. Spurs look toothless without him up front. Don`t let the three goals scored at Ajax fool you. Kane is our main man, and absolutely has to be the first name on the team sheet, even if only 80 per cent fit.

You'll be crazy to play 3 at the back against us. Our full backs push on so much that your wing backs have to engage them and that essentially leaves our 3 forwards with more space. When you switched to a 4 at the back in the second half at Anfield you look a much better team. Our record when playing against teams with 3 CB's is also outstanding.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We beat you 4-1 with three at the back. If TAA and Robertson push forward. Trippier can engage but he can also have space to exploit and i'd rather work towards our strengths than look to defend against yours.
Lloris
Trippier Toby Verts Rose
Sissoko
Lucas Dele Eriksen Son
Kane
Subs: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Foyth, Davies, Sanchez, Dier, Wanyama, Skipp, Lamela, Llorente
I definitely would’ve gone for Aurier if he got a game yesterday to see how he was.

My team, other than Aurier for Trippier. Such a big game, I think I would sooner risk Aurier than Trippier.
The henge team is my team. If Kane is fit, Kane starts end of story. I’m not having this sentimental bulls** if we got through City and Ajax without Kane. No bolloks, he is the best striker in Europe and our talisman. If Kane is fit, he starts it’s as simple as that.
That might be the case but I look at the Ajax game and Llorente changing it helped but he was against a much shorter and weaker Blind. Ajax were incredible down the middle as well keeping possession.
Liverpool's strength are down the wing. Be it the wingers or full backs. You hardly see goals coming through the middle.
I don't trust Trippier to hold that side on his own. I think we need men on each flank to exploit the space Liverpool to give up if they attack.
It's obviously a risk but you have to trust that the back three and Sissoko/ Eriksen in the middle can initiate a counter-attack.
I think Van Dijk would struggle more with a pacey player running than a Llorente/ Kane type.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It certainly can.
But at the same time due to how high we have our full backs, a back 4 has very much been a back 2 of late.
Having said that, I now hate the 3 at the back. We look so disorganised with that recently.
As much as he's been woeful this season, I'd play Dier in CM with a back 4. He's disciplined and tactically aware if nothing else (and there is nothing else).

Absolutely Don. Kane has to start. Spurs have looked pretty toothless without him, midweek aside.

Dier is to slow now for midfield. He can only be on the bench at best now.
I'd be happy with him on the bench too. I'm no Dier fan.

Trippier - Toby - Jan - Rose
Sissoko - Winks
Dele - Eriksen - Son
Kane
This is our best XI.

Didn't you watch the game at Anfield? We got murdered on the wings playing three at the back. When we changed to a flat four we were all over them
