Stay compact but use Lucas and Son as outlets to exploit the space behind Liverpools full backs.

Alli and Llorente as impact subs.

Need a very mobile midfield against Liverpool: Wanyama and Dier are too slow, both on and off ball

Kane must start i think, he's the most clinical and chances against that defence will be at a minimum.

I think this would give you the best chance.

Lucas would be well within his rights to knock Poch's teeth out if he's not starting in the final.

He would and it's harsh but then:

Kane - goes without saying.

Son - our player of the season.

Dele - is a big game player and when on the same pitch as Kane has a great understanding.

Basically that front 4 is tried and tested as a unit.

Kane and Winks for me will show rust in the biggest game there is, that isnt ideal is it

Play Harry off the bench, make sure Sissoko has 3 shredded wheat for breakfast, and that Trippier if he starts never crosses the half way line. COYS a nation is depending on you.

But we don't know how well those three link up together as a unit. Have we started those 3 up top before?

We know that Son, Dele, Kane and Eriksen work and have an understanding.

I know we can work on it in training but we don't really want to start a brand new system for a final.

Don`t agree mate, Dele had a good game in the semi-final. Son has done next to nothing since his two goals at Man City. I would definitely start Dele over Son.

Key is stopping Liverpool. Klopp nearly always goes for a very aggressive quick start. If you survive the first 20 minutes with the fullbacks overloading the wide players then it gets easier. So definitely start LOL.

Perhaps a slight advantage that there's more question over our team and system than there is Liverpool's - for match preparation.

In question for Liverpool will be their midfield 3 but we'll know our defence is to be lining up against:

Mane - Firmino - Salah

And we'll be trying to break down this defence:

TAA - Matip - VVD - Robertson.

Any number of combinations for our attack is possible with the only guaranteed starter being Eriksen.

It was his first good game in absolutely ages though, Son has contributed so much more over the season and has just won Player of the Year.
