A sensational effort from Pakistan to lose this match, that was truly special.

Twice the Aussies have got out of jail now. When they played a top quality team they were outclassed. Haven't been impressed with them.

Can't see past an England v India final

The New Zealand v India game could possibly not get a result tomorrow due to the weather. That will favour us big time

It's amazing the amount of different ways this team finds to lose

Great start to the tournament for NZ. Start off against 3 of the worst teams in the world and get a point from India through rain.

England is probably the worst part to hold world cups especially so early in the summer. Felt like the wc was picking up its momentum only for weather to spoil it.

Agree viru, feel that 3rd and 4th place will be deciding by whichever team got lucky and got a Rained off day and a point vs one of the best teams as opposed to one of the worst ones....

England obviously make the Ashes a priority which is fair enough but unless it’s held in late July and August pointless giving it to England

the worst part afridi is if the same team gets impacted twice. SL have been unlucky in this respect and think India and Pak are likely to have the same issue. Tomorrow’s a certain washout and FC for Sunday doesn’t look promising.

Very disappointing from Pakistan. Threw that game away. Baring a complete miracle I think it's safe to say qualification hopes are all over. I hope there will be action in tommorows game. I'm off work Thursday and Fridays so it would be a massive shame if there's no game tommorow.

Yeah agree - although NZ will take the point vs India I’m sure, whereas SL will feel hard done by with cancellation of Afghan and pak. Pak will feel could have beaten Lanka....... it’s ok if just 1 game, but complete utter farce that it’s 4 and counting...

Think icc have got this years format spot on - threatening to be a lottery WC if teams start getting rained off more than once

Game was in the bag and then we bottled it. On Sunday they will be packing there bags.

Unless Pakistan start selecting teams on merit, we will never be consistent enough to be considered world class material. Shoaib Malik has woeful record on bouncy tracks, should not have been here and there were couple of deserving batsmen left out. I have not seen any country's national selector in England, what is Inzi doing here, already we are burdened with massive debt and its further exacerbated with such unnecessary expenditure.

ICC members who voted and agreed to host June WC in Eng should be sacked with immediate effect...absolutely farcical. Doin't give a shhhtt about Ashes...why did they not pick up best of July? knowing that's the hottest and driest month in the calendar.

Not sure they would be enough even if they have 2-3 pitches at each? I mean maintenance wise... would it help? should have at least 6 different venues...
