Perfect example of the sort of player Spurs traditionally hold onto too long which leads to squad stagnation. He's not first pick and never will be, so get rid and replace with an upgrade and/or high potential

As a squad player i think he's a very decent option, for now. But he wants to leave and there are takers for him . If we got £15m for him that's £12m profit on his amortised value so it also makes FFP sense.

But if he goes, we need a quality replacement who is more first team ready!
