Looks like alot of us put faith in Kompany keeping Burnley up.

Eze, MGW, Gallagher and a RB and I think we can rock and roll next season.

If we don’t get Eze this summer then we won’t get him at all, it might already be too late as I could see City/Arsenal being interested, although I hope both prefer Olise.

Gallagher - haven’t checked Chelsea financial situation for a couple of months, hopefully they still need to sell.

MGW - Forest will almost certainly cash in, will cost us £60m I reckon. Again this is the summer to go for it otherwise he will be off to Villa/Newcastle and we just won’t pay what it will take from there.

I like Ederson and he would be a good alternative for Gallagher, but I’m not sure Atalanta will sell and he would want to come this summer, they are in the CL, just list the Italian cup final and are in the Europa league final. They feel like a side that is going places.

Olise is a great player, but has horrendous fitness issues and so I would rather pass.

Toney is a complete plonker and I think will prove to be too immobile for our system also.

Newcastle are all over Kelly and Tosin, I don’t think we will get a look in they seem to be advancing very quickly

I think the questions should be who is less injury prone and who can play three times a week.

Eze has had far worse injuries and is older. Olise is only 22 and can still become better. But Eze look unplayable at the moment.

I would sign Wharton and maybe even Marteta as well.

Neither would need to play 3 games a week tbf. Eze would compete for minutes directly with Maddison so they could share the load equally.

I do think Olise is a better player by far (he's facking class) but I still want to see Spurs get proper touchline wingers since that seems to fit Ange's system better - the biggest issue with Kulusevski is that he always cuts in and crowds the central space where Porro is already inverting and Sarr is already pushing forward

we were in for Wharton or at least linked werent we? can imagine if he joined us though he'd have gone the Jack Clarke route

Wharton should stay where he is, will get loads of game time at Palace and if he keeps going as is he will be on the radar of the biggest clubs very soon.

Yeah you're right. If we weren't so stacked in midfield he might have got a chance. But I did see they were up for selling a couple of weeks ago.

I wonder if Palace are at their PSR limit?

That holding mid is absolutely crucial this summer - if we concede 10 goals less we comfortably make CL. 20’goals less and we’re pushing the top 3.

So if we brought Olise, he walks straight into the team on the right wing. But Eze is not a definate starter. He would either be competing with Son on the left or Maddison in the 8.

Considering they would cost £60m each, and Palace are not likely to sell both, I would go with Olise.

It is but I'm not sure Ange sees it that way. I think he wants the right personnel up top to defend from the front so that the midfield and defence isn't as burdened as it currently is.

There was a clamour for Onana at one stage but I really struggle to see what he brings now. I don't think he's done much at Everton to justify the hype. He can't even get in their side now.

I worry about losing Biss because on his day he can perform like a prime Dembele but those performances are too few and far between.

And the rest. They'll want a lot more than 60m for each of those. I just think both might be a little too rich, given their current form and our tendency to balk at high demands.

Out of any position it’s crucial for us to get a ball winning centre mid ….we need a Rice

Palinha is surely gettable

Proper destroyer who can play a bit but bissouma should be playing with a combative midfielder not be relied upon to be it

We need a proper engine in there, Gallagher and Ederson fit the bill. Just a lunatic runner with great positional play. Rice and Rodri do it so well for the scuuum and City, we need that.

I agree about the right personnel up top - to be honest that’s what Richy adds, the pressing, harrying and physicality. Yet people want to trade for Toney who is no better at it.
