I'd be worried about Lampard as Chelsea manager due to his lack of experience. I don't think he'll know how to deal with things if things start going wrong like they did for Sarri last season. The only thing he has going for him is his legendary status at Chelsea maybe demanding some respect from his players that some managers didn't get.
Just seems like a really risky move if we appoint Lampard. If it goes wrong it's just a waste of time.
As I guess an advocate of youth, this is an unpopular opinion but no harm imo to give Abraham and James another top flight loan before bringing them into the squad.

Yeah people forget that Derby were a very good team before him. Vydra was obviously a big departure in the summer, but they did manage to bring in plenty of quality players.
