ALSO, this ain't on the Chelsea board, so no butthurt Chelsea fans please. If you want to discuss this situation politely, then that's different.

Won’t end well. He’s a classic chequebook manager so wouldn’t do well with the transfer ban. And Liverpool and City are already streets ahead and he doesn’t have a coaching bone in his body so wouldn’t be very successful. Should just go to PSG

I think in England right now, what fans want is a long term manager who doesn't need to win trophies initially and will be allowed time to build. Those conditions are different to those Mourinho had at Chelsea previously and I think that Mourinho may benefit from that.

He's so far past it, it would be hilarious

Add to that the transfer ban and he won't even be able to buy the 2nd rate trophies he did at utd

Saying all that i hope he does go back to Chelsea just to watch the meltdown part 3/4 etc etc

His time here is done.
Would he want to be sacked three times by the same club? He could boast he had another record then!

Chelsea have sacked him twice. he gets the sack everywhere he goes. He's never in a job more than five minutes and you want him back?
Goodnight!

I just can’t see the club even contemplate hiring him again, the old romance has truly worn off, not just with club but the fans as well.

He had a chance to rejuvenate himself whilst at Utd, but failed miserably I am afraid. I really thought there was a real chance for return to Inter Milan, considering his legacy at their club. Did they even approach Jose for the job, I am not sure ?

PSG could probably be appealing to both parties ? Newcastle if the the new billionaires take over ?

I still don't understand what happened though. The Chelsea fans were fully in support of Mourinho when he was fired. Hopefully it's something that time will heal I guess.

Not if the club back him and give him a project he fully agrees with, which is what he says. Do Chelsea and Mourinho not have a bond? I would love to see Mourinho at Chelsea long term and what he says shows he is interested in managing long term in a job as well.

He’s well past his sell by date. His outdated tactics didn’t work in his final season at United, what on earth makes you think he can muster up 90+ Points to even come close to competing at the top with his anti-football philosophy.

There was clearly disharmony between the players and Mourinho in his final season and a lot of people have since admitted that Mourinho was probably more in the right in that situation than people initially gave him credit for. Also, I think it's clear now that the structure of the club itself is completely wrong for a top club and Mourinho was clearly limited by those circumstances.

Mourinho has gotten 90+ points in league campaigns before so he's actually one of the few managers in the world who would be capable of that. I understand given his personality it's quite easy and tempting to gleefully take joy in his 'decline' but you're definitely being unfair in what you say.

Think you’re a bit deluded. Had the backing at United and couldn’t come close to competing for the title. A transfer ban at Chelsea with Mourinho in charge would be quite hilarious.
