I'll watch more Championship games on tv than the snorefest that is the Premiership.

Oh look, there's megabucks Celtic 15 points clear.
Oh look, there's Rangers 15 points clear in 2nd.
Oh look, there's St Mirren rooted at the bottom.
Oh look, there's Hamilton rooted into the play-off place.

The Scottish Championship is the most competitive and exciting league in the world. With Dundee as the main attraction obviously.

My only concern is that for people with more than a standard grade in PE, Friday night games at 19:05 are difficult to get to when travelling from the developed world.

Yeah I agree, I like the Friday night games but don't like the 7.05 kick off times for the BBC.

Thankfully the derby is on BT so a later kick off, which increases my much-needed drinking time before the game.

Where do you frequent for pints? We have a couple in town then taxi to Frews for quarter to 3 and then my dad places a pint and a whisky on front of me and tells me that we need to leave. So have to down the pint and the whisky.

My old man seems to like going into the Victoria Bar which isn't my favourite but it keeps him happy. At least it's close to Tannadice.

Never been. Usually end up in Mennies on Perth Road
after and then Bank Bar before train. Good pubs.

You're not missing much. Mennies is a good pub. Been looking into getting the train/bus rather than driving to the games more this season for alcohol reasons.

Ivan probably asked this before, but a mate of mine keeps going on about a secret pub in Dundee says its cracking but its gimmick is its hard to find, is he just making schite up
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No it's true. It's called Draffens. It's designed to look like a speakeasy kinda place and it's down a fairly awful looking lane with no signage outside. It's nice enough in a trendy kind of way.

Small and pricey. I was just messing around on street view looking for it and realised I went there with the bird in a picture in this window holding the dog, strange:

There's nothing strange about the way she's holding that dog.

They have a point

They have a very good point imo. They could easily have taken logistics into account when scheduling games.

Maybe there thinking is that because it is so far away, no one will bother going so they will put it on TV for them to watch instead. Then people will tune in and complain that there are no fans there.
