Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba

It's becoming very easy to fall out of love with modern day football and people like him are a big reason why. We should wash our hands with him after Pogba goes.

City refuse to deal with him. If a few more clubs did he'd soon disappear.

Dave

I have long maintained that if FIFA want to do anything good for the game they should ban clubs from paying agents fees.

Players should have to pay their agents, not the clubs who sign them, or sell them.

Pogba won't kick up a fuss so he will do everything he can to unsettle the club.

He is doing what the 'nice guys' won't do to get a move and so they pay him to do it.

Think we should not be doing any biz with him after this.

Top clubs wants him, it certainly appears to be the case with RM, Zidane is a big fan of Pogba, but they’ve been told only bids north of £150m will be considered. So it’s probably a case of pricing Pogba out of the market ?

...............

To what end? There is nothing the club can do if no one wants him. It will be counter productive for him.

I just read this article too.

Feck I detest the modern players' agents.

Not just the agents. There is a lot that’s wrong with the modern game. The worst part of agents is that the club pay them. In my opinion, it should be the players that pay them, especially in a situation like this where the player wants to leave. I wonder how much a player would want to leave if the had to pay all the agent fees?

No, they don't. They are talking the talk, that is all. Read the article.

I was tempted to do an article myself about Raiola's actions and Neymar apparently going AWOL.

Very unprofessional and childish behaviour in order to engineer the move they want.

Fifa really need to do something about it, these people (whether we like it or not) are supposed to be role models. These actions wouldnt be tolerated under normal working conditions.

I guess if a club employs an agent then that will be different.

But if the agent works for the player then the player really should be paying their fees. This is how it works in the real world.

The comment I find bizarrely brazen is Raiola lamenting how United hasn't done more to defend and support the player who has just said he wants to leave the club, making out that Pogba is the honourable victim

Its getting up there with Yaya's agent having a go at City for not giving him a birthday cake.

Trouble is though, that clubs seem to employ them because they want to buy a player. A win win for the agents. Some selling clubs employ them too, so that they can move a player on. A win, win, win for the agents.

Neymar is a quality player, but who in their right mind would splash ridiculous money on him at present.

Again, Barcelona are doing the talk saying they would love him back, but don't seem to be interested in making it happen.

It's not. Theyre effectively recruitment consultants and if businesses want access to quality employees and indeed go on to employ them they have to pay a fee.

I'm glad PSG are having issues with Neymar. This is what happens when you pay £200m for a player. Ridiculous money towards someone who can hold you to ransom and never return that fee on or off the pitch.

If i was Barca I'd ramp it up a bit too... Unsettle him and disrupt psg... And then leave him there

In today’s world it’s supply and demand. Pogba was and is still in high demand. Raiola will get Pobga the best possible deal and make the club pay his extortionate fee because the clubs were/are desperate to sign Pogba. That’s what happened when Man Utd signed him from Juve.

posted on 9/7/19

clubs should just refuse to deal with him, enough clubs do it and the players will drop him

not that it would happen

Good article on BBC about how Neymar has fvcked his career. Left to win Ballon D'or but no-one cares what he does in Ligue 1 and they cant get him on the pitch in the CL. Stripped of the Brazil captaincy, banned for his club, missed the Copa on home soil and has now gone AWOL.

Apparently a top bloke believe it or not.

It's just stupid to be honest. They've thrown a £200m transfer fee and then ridiculously high wages to boot which will never be recovered.

The owners obviously don't care to that extent are were more interested in winning the CL so they can show it off but honestly enjoying the situation.

Some of these deals happening make no financial sense and in some cases I do question whether many go through for other purposes i.e. laundering/ bribes
