He’s better than what you have but not by a huge amount. Honestly think Evans is a better defender for us. He will start off well and look great then after a few games the mistakes start creeping in

Eric Bailly 2 years ago looked class. He seems to be permanently out though. I don't think he's anything like that same player now. His stock has fallen a lot.

Writing off a signing being good, because he’s not very good and would be the most expensive defender in the world, does not compare with the fickle, reactionary whining you display on a regular basis year on year.

If he does well and does that I’ll be happy, but it that’s the barometer for the most expensive defender in the world being a good signing then football is truly broken.

The funny thing is you were laughing your aris off at Liverpool paying £75m for VVD, a far superior player, and now try to justify Maguire going for more.

You can’t really be taken seriously.

Neymar, Bale, Pogba, Lukaku, dembele, Coutinho. None of these have proven to be worth their price tag. Clubs have been overpaying for years.
