What’s the source Zico? Looks like a poorly researched article from an English paper; the transfer window for Celtic is open until the end of the month, not next Thursday as the detail above claims. Agree that selling him at the moment would be daft.

Ajer and Jozo should not be allowed to leave this season, it would take two of our best defenders out a time when we need a solid defence with the new guys bedding in.

The Jozo to Lille story has been floating around for a few weeks. It's now got some ooomph now that Lille are newly minted with Arsenal's £70m.
Tbh.....I can see this transfer happening but at a time that suits us ie at end of European qualifiers. Whatever happens we've got 2 ties to negotiate taking us to the end of the month. Only then can he be allowed to leave when we know our European fate. I hope we've got some replacements lined up.
As for Ajer, no fvcking way should he be allowed to leave. Tell Leicester or whoever Get Tae Fvck' and he stays to form a partnership with CJ.

Total speculation on my part, but Jozo’s ludicrous red card in that pre-season friendly (that got him banned for yesterday), may just have been the point where we finally thought it’s time to cash in on any decent offer.
As for Ajer, BR can just fook aff ... and certainly at £15m in the current mental market. The guy has huge potential IMO.

Why not just say we need to compete for 90 mins then, why say we would have won the league, which if you do the maths is utter pash anyway, its as bad as the mini league schite, hope Killie hump you today, really horribly.

If the offer is good and we can get a replacement, I'd let Jozo go, he follows a consistent pattern of playing well for a couple of months only to cost us in big games.
Don't get me wrong, I think there's a really good defender in there if he could cut out the rush of blood that turns him into a maniac on occasion.
But he's clearly our 3rd choice cb, so if the price is right and we can get a good replacement I won't be too fussed.
I would sell Jozo but only if we have a replacement lined up. We have some challenging CL qualifiers to negotiate first 👍

Because he's been linked with a move away almost every window since he arrived which tells me he kinda wants away those rumours usually come from the players agent, and he's not that great, I think if the fee is high enough we'd be able to get better for the money.
