I'm not really too keen on the idea of a number 10 - would much rather go 433 and get a couple of good midfielders.

If we are going to go that way though, then it's a no brainer. Quality player, PL proven with a good 4-5 years left in him.

What you want and what you get are two different things.

Wanting two CM is nice but chances are slim to none in 2 days.

From the looks of things this rumour isn’t as crazy as thought. Could see one of Fernandes or Coutinho at Spurs to replace Eriksen

We desperately need creativity and someone to be able to put through balls with a bit of guile and someone like Eriksen fits that bill. If there is even a sniff of a chance of getting him we’d be fools to not make it happen
