Its quite clear from reports that the path is clear for a sale. Anderson and bassini issue separate. All about fv have you got the money or not. If you've not stand aside and give someone else the chance to buy. As it stands fv are preferred bidders and no one else can be considered.

Its not separate that's the point LB has a signed SPA the judge yesterday stated the current injunction may be revisited after the 2nd Sept hearing this could add more to the current injunction and might even ratify that SPA LB has. Now if that happens watch the fireworks and buy a comfy chair it could take a very long time to sort out.

The club is no use without a hotel as the FV business plan and ownership won't be ratified without the pair. Imagine the shock if they bought the club and then thought they would be buying the hotel and up pops another injunction from stage left

Maybe FV are only still here today but now trying to work out a plan to get their money back from the admin team money spent in good faith I hope the admins didn't hide the LB SPA skeleton in the closet
Prepare for a nightmare
I'd have run for the hills and reached the summit by now

What we want is a stranger to ride into town wearing a big white Stetson it would be preferable if he was also a Texan oil tycoon with billions to spend on a little old quaint English football club he had read about in the Texan Times.

Meanwhile tickets on sale for Doncaster
£20 plus £1 booking fee. 3 home games in August going to cost £62 when my monthly direct debit was £34. Any wonder football ventures arnt winning any friends.

But its the Admin doing everything isn't it FV can have no say in the running of the club while in admin. Admins have to make the money to pay the bills to keep the club ticking over until they can off load it all on to a buyer.
If FV do buy it's when its all signed sealed done deal that they can do anything like set match prices.and rule in the board room. FV are probably busy right now meeting with legal eagles discussing the consequences of what happened yesterday and what the ongoing legal issues could mean for them and the club if they do buy.

FV need to pull their finger out, and very soon.
The kids seem to be suffering at the moment, playing twice a week, it will just lead to more injuries, then we wont be able to field a full team. then get into further bother with ELF.
We need more players now Oztumer has run off.

Fancy an alternative view instead of waiting for the Beano why not click and see how LB is making waves away from court.

Issac football ventures arnt bothered that the kids are being forced to play 2 games a week when they physically can't handle it. They don't care if the transfer window is shut if they ever complete. They don't seem to care about anything of the well being of the club. To be honest I just don't know what they are in it for.

Monday morning there might be somebody from the admin team making a phone call.
"Hello Laurence you wouldn't by any chance still have that money to buy BWFC"

FV must be waiting on the Hotel bid being accepted, otherwise the Club SPA would be done and dusted some time ago.
Like Benny says, FV have no money, and are relying on the Hotel for the money, and if they fail to get the Hotel then it could well be Goodbye FV, Hello Mr Bassini or even Pasty's Texan.
I am bored of trying to second guess these people, bored of the deadlines and tick tocking of the clocks.
It is going to take much, much longer to get to the dizzy heights we are used to.

Well the way things are going we should be prepared for a shock when the new owner of the Hotel is revealed in some near distant future

Still dining out on the takeover was going to be announced last Thursday.

We've dined out that much on this takeover malarkey there's nowt left in the larder and can't afford the bill.
The fixtures are coming along by the end of August we'll likely be well into battle weary mode.
Soon after the transfer window passes us by and we are back into free agents and loans provided they can be funded and the EFL allow them.
Chuck in a brief outing to court for an update at the start of Sept and see what transpires.

The hotel could well change all of that but the at the fast pace they appear to be going its best to be prepared for the worst and then you can look pleasantly surprised if the hotel happens any quicker and moves the club along a yard or two.

With Bassini continually muddying the waters this takeover is going to take some time. Anyone shouting Bassini has more money than FV needs their head testing. If he is borrowing 25 million to buy the club, he hasn't got that much cash. Out of that pot of 25million, he says he will pay all debts in full. If you tot it all up the 25 million will have been spent, or very nearly. Then he has to find the cash to pay the lease on the ground which is supposed to be the deal and run the club. He also did not pass the EFL test.

It would create a worse scenario than we had with Anderson. If you want to support him and see the ground turned into part of the retail park within two years, go ahead. You need to think very carefully for what you wish for. It would be an unprecedented disaster.

If Plan B stood for Plan Bassini
We don't appear to have a Plan C. Is that why its all gone quiet they tell us they are all considering options in light of the legal stuff while hastily working away trying to put a Plan C together.

quite possibly pasty. Sometimes people say that no news is good news but it doesn't feel like it at this moment in time.

Some crumb of comfort from the administrator might be welcome, just as long as its not a load of piffle.

My gut feeling is football ventures want out as lost investors. Failed to buy the club once before. Wonder if bassini will charge to the rescue on his white charger. In other news otzhumer has signed for Charlton. Fair enough exercising his right to leave on a free. Nice little earner for him, signing on fee and 2 year contract.

Hang on a minute is our index of Plans stolen from Sesame Street?
Plan
A is for Admin
B is for Bassini
C is for Cunning
D is for Disappear
They even did a song as well didn't they perhaps admins are singing it.

It's good to have a little humour injected into the waiting game.

Benny, FV pulled out because Anderson tried to shaft them by not declaring the true value of the debts that were owed by the club. The accountants that FV brought in to check the accounts found them and they decided that the cost was too high. These people aren't idiots they are educated, business people who won't pay over the odds for a business.

Football ventures have been preferred bidders for 47 days now. Clearly only interested in the hotel letting the football side go to ruin. Maybe hotel ventures would be a more appropriate title. Expecting them to quickly disappear once someone else is announced as the owner of the hotel.

I know its bad here but seems a lot worse at bury. Bury player Stephen dawson on the brink of losing his house. Both he and chairman Steve Dale had a bit of a Dingdong on talksport. Worth listening to https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1162330968604237824

We have a match tomorrow and our main concern at the moment is running out of players.

The takeover Soap has been flogged to death all we have to show for it is a preferred bidder for the club who is 50 days old on Monday and a bunch of solicitors and admins taking money away from where we really need it on the footballing side of things.

Still be here at Christmas. Can the takeover be done before the January transfer window shuts. Wages due at the end of the month. Will there be any money to pay? Whens the tipping point where its not viable staying in administration?

On that Bury issue and talksport interview Jill Neville was mentioned at the end she walked away from the club.
Too many clubs have problems the Governments governance of sport paper was supposed to address the poor management of sports by their governing bodies many of them seem to have gone into self preservation mode leading them to neglect their main responsibilities.

Looking at Bury if it was in a mess hiding behind the picture painted how come Steve Dale was allowed to buy it blind not knowing what was hiding behind the sales blurb. Shouldn't the EFL have something which states full discloser must be made by the clubs sellers with all data to enable due diligence to be completed before the EFL can consider looking at the buyers suitability to own the club that would save a lot of messing about admins/sellers would have had to disclose everything before asking for bids and none of this secret paid for data room malarkey as in our case that would enable the EFL to see what was required to buy a club add on the actually costs of running it for 2yrs and test a potential owner and their plans against that.
Its about time the governors governed at the EFL and got tough with the sellers and buyers of clubs.
