Cant mind the last time I bought a paper to be honest, see it getting shared on twitter all the time.

Just baffles me that these guys actually earn a living from writing schiedt like that

Probably because folk keep on reading and clicking on it, then some eejit rehashes it and posts it on here without context

As Lex said , the sooner these rags shuffle off the better

No really without context though was it ya balloon, the OP was about Gerrard getting a free ride

Gerrard didn’t get an easy time, was rightly called out for his tactics and selection. He had an easy time till then as it was all good up to then. None of this desperate for players chat, needing big improvements etc you had on at Celtic.

Lennon has a squad that costs twice as much, and Celtic are obviously the team to beat. Or are they trying to say Gerrard should be judged to the same standard as Lennon? Till the old firm we’d surpassed expectations in Europe, the opposite for Celtic.

We’ve also just had Kent called a panic signing fs, as if we weren’t trying to sign him all summer. Can’t stand Sportcene these days nothing insightful between them.

Heard the Athletic is a quality read so tempted to subscribe to that

Are Celtic fans really getting their nick nacks in a twist because Gerrard hasn't been slated enough in the press after the OF game?

You are all being more than a bit selective about IMO.

There was universal agreement across all the media that Gerrard got it badly wrong against Celtic and that Lennon got it spot on.

What more do you want? Are there not enough hysterical Rangers fans on the phone ins calling for SGs head like we had with Lennon? You want front page headlines with Gerrards head replaced by a turnip?

Seriously - I am not sure what you really expect to happen. Rangers have had a strong start to the season - we have qualified for the EL again and went into the Celtic game with a 100% league record - a significant improvement on last year.

And because everyone had a bad day in the first OF game you all want SG hung out to dry? Maybe we are just showing a sense of perspective?

In the past week we have had plenty of stories criticising Rangers.

'Kent is a panic buy'

'Rangers are now 1 defeat away from a crisis'

'Gerrard must stop throwing his players under the bus'

'Rangers EL ticket prices amongst the most expensive in Europe'

etc etc.

How exactly are these all feel good Rangers stories to appease the tubby slavering masses?

So is the suggestion that despite all of this - because there were some positive reports around the fact we brought the PFA young player of the year back making him our second most expensive signing ever or because someone is singing the praises of a Rangers player who scored four minutes into his international debut then Scottish media is pyoor at it?

As a great man somewhere once said 'whit a pyoor riddy'.
