Some auld chancer has bought the name, trademarks and stuff. He's offering 1 week full-board in Skegness, Cleethorpes and Brechin.

TC took on large debts in 2011 making it very hard to compete in this market.

The business had lost its way decades ago and never really understood the way the marketed have split and emerged, trying to be all things to all people.

Bailing it out would merely have scratched the surface with £1.6bn of debt which cost £150m a year just to pay the interest. The current board are blameless but it’s the previous incumbents who ripped out the huge salaries and bonuses. They’ve long scarpered.

Hamish you expecting a doddle on Wednesday night at Livingston or a harem scarem type game on their concrete plastic?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the team are better equipped to deal with their pitch in general.

It was a bit of a shock to the system in the first game last season and we obviously lost 1-0. My abiding memory of that game is that clown Ejaria constantly trying Cruyff turns surrounded by three or four Livvy players and ending up slipping on his erchie every time.

Second time we went there it was a more comfortable 3-0 win for us.

As much as the pitch is utter gash we have shown we can adapt and win on it so there shouldn't be any excuses.

As always with these teams - if you get the early breakthrough they have to come out at you and they should be there for the taking.

We should have the quality to get through - I would be optimistic and say 2-0 Gers.

Like I said on another thread it will be, Celtic, Aberdeen, Killie and Rangers making up the semi-final draw in my humble opinion.

Might even put it on as a wee accumulator.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Are the league cup semis at Hampden?

Seeing Killie potentially in there and the thought of a trip to Rugby park sends a shiver down my spine.

We might be better equipped to cope with these astro matches but they are always pretty terrible games.

Yeah pretty sure they are at Hampden Hamish.

Thank fook.

I thought it was maybe only the Scottish cup the semis were there.

I think the old man just gave them £350 for the Porto trip.

Need to check with him.

They have also made sure the semi finals do not follow a europa league week this year

They seem to be scheduled in for 2/3 Nov which means they will be fine this year

Irvine, come collect your official Celtic da sticker for this patter.

It does seem that rangers did indeed tell their fans that it was a separate entity and wouldn't be effected. That's not very good.
