If you weren't wanting Poch out a week ago then might it be said that you're being a bit reactionary?

We've had a bad week and there's clearly issues there but now you want to sack Poch and rebuild the team.

So...get rid of the manager AND the players. And you also want the Chairman out. So a new chairman to sign a new manager who will sign new players.

Yep in my ideal world I would love a rich Arab to takeover and propel us to success. I can’t stand Levy or ENIC, but unfortunately that isn’t going to happen js it? So to get out of this mess, we need to a fresh new approach as the current regime ( Pochettino ) don’t want to be here. It’s not really reactionary because I have been getting a bit fed up of Poch all summer. What put the final nail in the coffin for me was the Brighton game. That’s when I knew this can’t be salvaged and the damage has been done.

Do I want Pochettino to turn it around? Yes of course I do. Do I think he will ? No, unfortunately not.

posted on 9/10/19

Well I think we all agree on the first question.

I think the answer to the second question depends alot on Daniel Levy / transfers.

Defensively - these players are not completely committed to the club and have looked to run down contracts or make a move the last couple of transfer windows:

Aurier--- Alderweireld---Vertonghen---Rose

Our options after these. Are the following players:

KWP---Sanchez---Foyth---Tanganga---Davies

Assuming the first four leave in the summer. What do people realistically think a new manager will do with the five players above?

unfortunately i agree i dont think Poch can turn it around due to the structure of the club. Im desperate for Poch to stay and the club to back him as necessary but it isnt their way. We will slide down and maybe come up in another 5/6 years

Lather, rinse, repeat. The same cycle and the same conversations as we are having today. Again and again.

the reality is that the following are unlikely to be at spurs next season.

Dealing simply in fact and not fan speculation. If levy wants to sack Poch then he's fully justified given our form in 2019 and our inability to win a big game and deliver a trophy (CL final vs Pool, FA cup semi vs United, LC semi vs Chelsea and chasing leicester down for the league. Whether it's the right move and whether Levy wants to pay the money none of us know but pointing out he's the best manager in a generation when we've won nothing is totally defeatest and typical of Spurs fans who celebrate mediocrity. It's clearly not all his fault and Levy has made it as hard as anyone could imagine for him. He's done a fine job in the circumstances but there are expectations to be met and TODAY he's failing, he will be fall guy whether we like it or not because that's what he's paid to be !

He is damned if he plays our unmotivated, uninterested players who want to leave.

And he is damned if he plays our inexperienced, not as solid and reliable players.

yeah. were..

btw... I'm in favour of moving this lot on.. just not in one window.. that's too much change..

if we can shift some this jan and some more in summer, and REPLACE PROPERLY.. then that's fine

80% of that lot should have been sold this summer if not before... there's the problem... that's on Levy & Poch

So Pochettino decided he doesn't want to spend big on quality replacements?

You can think what you like mate but given where we find ourselves today i think my view on Spurs looks a lot more accurate than some rose tinted view of everything Poch/spurs that's about 12 months outdated. We all enjoyed the CL run but it's gone.... move on

So

Lloris, Rose, Toby, Verts, Eriksen - replacements needed

Wanyama, Aurier, Dier, Lamela - upgrades needed

Kane - BACK UP NEEDED FOR 50000TH TRF WINDOW IN THE ROW

Needing to sell close to 10 players and bring a similar amount in is near on impossible to get right at the best of times. In a market where we cant compete with wages and transfer fees and our scouting is facking dogshat, im afraid gentleman, for the next few years, we are facked. Love Thursday night footy anyway tbh

presumably you are referring to them in their prime... current day toby and jan for example are definitely needing to be upgraded !

obviously. these are players who could easily move elsewhere and impress. And were incremental to our rise under poch, the main issue is these guys not performing for the team now so we are back to how we were or even worse.

You're just getting emotional and talking nonsense. How is your view more accurate when you're refusing to look into the detail and understand what is fundamentally going wrong and causing this?
