I'm not sure if the Sun are reporting this correctly (shock horror).
Apparently, Woodward recently sent somebody to speak to Rangnick about his work with RB Leipzig's academy and coaching setup.
Bayern are said to have approached him about taking over as coach but he declined and according to Bild would be interested in taking over from Ole if he were to leave but it seems as though he'd like to be hands on in terms of the overall sporting side of the club as well as being first team coach.
"The question would have to be: ‘Can I be somebody who can influence areas of development across the whole club?’ Otherwise you are only getting half of what I am capable of."
I've been keeping an eye on this ever since I heard his name mentioned.
Interesting one.

Is that me being negative or is it simply a fact?
He won't get the control needed here due to Ed, so won't be coming. He's someone who would help build up the football side of things (whether Ole stays or he comes in as a manager). It still wouldn't be a quick fix though. We're still a few signings short and the younger players, depending on their development, could help with the process. 3 years I think if everything works to plan.
