Franco manca or pizza union are good cheap pizzas.

There's a pub in cannon Street called the pelt trader which does the best pizza I have ever had.18 inches and generous with the chili

Find Franco Manca rubbish nowadays. All dough and no substance or flavour. Will check out pelt trader though. I like the sound of that!

Dominos, Papa John's and the like are revolting. You can get a much nicer pizza from a supermarket for less than half the price.

Wouldn't say they were revolting but certainly not worth the money and I stopped ordering them years ago. Pizza Express supermarket ones are decent enough.

Wood fired oven ones all the way.

yeah this, goodfellas frozen pizza's for 1-3 quid as well are pretty good.

My local Italian family run place does great pizza and take away is round a tenner

The best pizza I've had was in New Jersey, local place near Parsippany, it was absolutely amazing.

Also had amazing Pizza in Brooklyn on Fulton Street, think it was called Grimaldis or something. I want to go back to New York/Brooklyn purely for this pizza.

Will caveat this with the fact I've not been to Italy, the home of pizza.

I have a nice pizza stone at home. Can make a pretty good pizza with that guy. Mozzarella, tomato, basil.

No, in the oven. Oven can get to 550F, so when the stone is piping hot just slide the pizza on. Just takes a few minutes and you get a nicely risen crust.

Favourite Toppings?

Dominos used to do balls of Chorizo that were unreal.

The cheeseburger pizza is very good too.

Though when i get one made, some kind of spicy meat, sweetcorn and onion
